Just as a reminder The Chautauqua Co. Antique Equipment Assoc. will have a plow day this Saturday May 14th starting at 9:00 in Stockton, N.Y. near the corner of the Stockton/ Hartfield Rd and Bowen Rd behind the Stockton Township Highway barns. This is a short distance from our club grounds on Cemetery Rd. This event was rescheduled from last Saturday. From the four corners in Stockton head west on Railroad Ave that becomes the Stockton/ Hartfield Rd.
Nothing sounds better than a letter series Farmall purring. Can you imagine back in the day sitting on a Johnny Popper having to listen to the popping and banging all day? Really took a strong back and weak mind to buy a Johnny Popper back in the day. Farmall was so far ahead.
That is the perfect setting on that two bottom plow and farmall H is pulling it really well and the perfect depth, and I think my grandfather had a two bottom plow exactly the same thing and the year was a 1941 two bottom plow 👍👍
I enjoy watching your old farm equipment work ! There are not too many people still doing this out there . It's still wet for me to do any tilling . I'm hoping maybe Thursday or Friday it will be dry enough . Thanks for sharing and have a great evening !
Just a little bit more to know on that little genius plow than the ones I used to run . Which was pull the hydraulic lever lol . Great video as always Geno !
My father and I are going to a plow day on the 14th of May this year in Stark NH across from the old POW camp. We will be plowing with a farmall 400 and a John Dear 3 bottom plow on steal. Last time the we used that plow it did not go into the ground so after making adjustments we hope it plows better.
Might be a good idea to pickup a 2 bottom Oliver or IH and some more little genius! Parts parts parts! Also wearing a hat is a must when driving tractor lol
Farmall Fanitic :) that nice plow and Farmall H 1949 one drove years ago was 1945 Farmall H basic model row crop too! Funny part my neighbor has Farm Hand tires back with Good Year and tractor fully restored this winter except 12 Volt Negative ground with 1978 GM Delco Alternator 100 amp it got new Cooper tires on front and back wheels ! Why rebuilt because clutch get old also need transmission rebuilt plus motor did lots acres in time ! Want fun part he bought off Farmall dealership in our area in 1972 when first got worked at General Motors in Oshawa Ontario plant plus stills farm no animal since 1979 and does cash crops also retirement of GM in 2013 ! Farm still today 2500 acres owns only 850 out 2500 rest rents ! Also that Farmall H he got me rebuilt up with paint plus decals put on !
All action. Red power 💪💥 good bit of ploughin 👍 I've just landed a couple of of acres to plough with my Doncaster built international B250 and international B200 plough which was one of the first international ploughs built for the 3 point hitch usin a lot of the parts that were used in their trailing ploughs 👌 great video 👍
I saw black smoke, is the carburetor set rich, sounds like it is. The rim of the rear wheel should be at ground height when wheel is furrow and pulling.
Started with an H and little 2x16 plow dont know what the number was looks like that plow. Only it wasnt painted nice like that. It was a rustic grey faded
@@FarmallFanatic Dad used a McCormick 2 bottom behind his. Don't recall the model number. That's been almost 50 years ago. I do remember it had 14 inch bottoms.
