I know this video is a year old, but it just popped up in my feed today. I love that you share your faith, and WHY you keep a prayer journal, and how it has bolstered your faith. So many videos focus on the aesthetics and all the pretty things they put in their prayer journals, as opposed to sharing their faith. To each their own, but I feel like time with God should be just that. God bless sister!

I've watched a number of prayer journaling videos but this one was the best, it was simple and straight forward and doesnt require a bunch of prep and follow thru. Your video helped me see how I can "use", not "make" a prayer journal that works for me. A prayer journal that has depth and meaning! A prayer journal I will actually use. A prayer journal I will be able to keep up with. Matter of fact I already have a journal with an entry or two that fits this purpose perfectly. Thank you!

You are so sweet. I really enjoyed this video. I have had a prayer journal for over a year now, two actually. My main prayer journal is a collection of praise, surrender, healing Scriptures and some other things plus a page with prayer prompts. I would go through the notebook each day starting with praise and then through the other parts to my prompts. It really helped me with praying. But then it started to get so big because I was adding to it and it wasn't as much fun anymore and I didn't want to be legalistic with prayer. I also have a prayer journal that I write prayers in. I decided to start doing written prayer more often rather than going through my prompts. I still do the prompt prayer journal when I feel inspired to do it but I'm mostly doing written prayer. Thank you for the suggestions on how to write entries. I always like hearing how others pray so that I can enhance my prayer life.

Jasmine you've been so inspirational with your genuine self. Thank you sharing your experience through prayer journaling; above all you gave a great example of how much you acknowledge and adore our Lord and Saviour. Hi Jasmine. I am very nervous to start a journal. Can you do a video on what do you do with the journals you finish. Do you keep them the rest of your life? What do you write? For example fo you ever fear what if something happened to you and your loved ones found your journals. My feat is are you afraid others will read your deepest prayers or feelings of what you prayed about?. 😢. I love the idea as I love to write but can you do a video or advise?

Lol! I feel that! 😆😅 I keep all of my prayer journals! When I’m older, I plan to sort through the ones I’d like to keep personal and the ones others can read. I’d hate to throw the personal ones away, but that’s probably going to be the only option lol. But I hope to have some around left for my children to look back on after I transition to Heaven.🥰 My husband on the other hand plans to burn every single one of his! lol 🔥😆😂

I think SOAP is an excellent Bible Study method, but not a prayer model. I like to use Moms In Prayer International's prayer model: Praise Confession Thanksgiving and Supplication. Thanks for a great video! 🤗

I do mention that it’s something one could use for Bible study. ☺️ A person could use it to prayer journal and to talk to God while studying the word. ☺️ I’ve done that before.😅 Thanks for sharing a prayer model you enjoy! 🙏🏽 & thanks for the encouragement!💕💕☺️

LOL. Prayer resolves nothing! You mat as well be talking to the lamp post for all the good praying does. Praying is like making a wish, or knocking on wood for good luck or not stepping on cracks in the side walk. It's meaningless and has no real or intrinsic value.

From your comment, it seems like you don’t believe in what the Bible teaches. If I’m incorrect, forgive me. If I am correct, please know that the Lord exists and wants us to pray to him all the time lifting up all types of prayers to him. I pray that the Lord will reveal Himself to you in an incredible way. He loves you and wants a relationship with you. You are loved by Jesus! You are cared for by THE KING! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 Ask him to forgive you of your sins, believe that he died on the cross and rose on the third day. Confess with your mouth that he is Lord and turn away from sin. Jesus is good. I pray that you’ll experience God to know that He is good and loves to hear his children calling on him. Blessings!🤍
