I use a sandstone bowl someone in my life carved for me, a charcoal puck for camping and can burn just about anything evenly. Sandstone can hold the heat perfectly and distributes the heat from the charcoal like 2 layers of heat.

STOP BURNING, START VAPORIZING. It's as simple as a Pyrex dish on a stove. Between 2-3 on the small burner of the stove. You can use Halogen Light bulbs too 75W-100W. Even a simple heat lamp works great.. When I use Palo Santo I simply put it on my small glass stove element past 2. It consistently vaporizes, doesn't burn and my place smells like a forest instead of Holy smoke.

I QUIT the charcoal now instead I use bees wax tea candles under a small tin (butter tart ) cup.

Wow! Turned Eastern Orthodox and starting to set up a prayer corner with incense. Like most I just light the candle or charcoal and throw on the resin. Didn't know there could be much more to the ritual. You are showing that the process itself is also meditative. thank you!

Ah this was great, definitely room for more of these type videos too. Personally, I have only worked with regular essential oils, but this has inspired me dive a bit deeper in the essences. Am I right in thinking the essences can be 'stacked' in a sense to find a blend/balance which resonates? Also, surely the technology is there for a little 'smell-o-vision' toggle switch for RU-vid 😂

Nice! Reminds me of a hookah. I have some lots of chunks of dragons blood resin. I will take you advice using a mortal and pestal to grind it and put some aluminum on top of the hot coal.

instead of mica plate can i use a foil to help to burn incense slowly without getting that burned oud smell?

U can also put a drop of oil on a lightbulb, but be careful! Only 1 drop!

i would suggest eco foil an all natural foil. & also coconut or natural coals.
