How to program Audi TT MK1 key with one key

My audi key fob battery died so we have to change it without knowing the programing would get erased doing so, my dad and i were working on it it for days without a clue to do we eventually searched but our key only works for the ignition and not the door so we couldn't do the step on the door since it wont turn when i saw your video on to just remove the lock and put in a screw driver it clicked to me on what to do and we immediately did it and it worked many thanks.

Hey mate when you found out what pin activated the central locking what did you do, its a bit unclear? Did you get a spare bit of wire and give that pin earth?

Thank fucking God you exsist. I bought some bs key replacement from eBay. I transferred everything over even the transponder. For some reason my key stopped working.

Hello. Can I re-progamme my remote key if I put my valet key in the ignition? I only have 1 FOB key and 1 Valet key. Many thanks in advance for any help! JP

I’ve got exactly the same problem but sadly I can’t fix it .🙈. My hazard lights start to flash when the ignition is switched on . They continue to flash when the engine is running for around five minutes . Keys have new batteries but remote still won’t operate even after trying all procedures listed on RU-vid .

hi maybe you can give me some tips or tell me what I'm doing wrong? I have the same problem as in the video and can't sort it out, what are the last 2 steps? Should I put the key in the ignition and? I also noticed that when I open the door on the driver's side, the passenger side door remains closed. When I close on the driver's side, both doors close. I also noticed that the locking button works in the middle, but the unlocking does not work anymore. Is the central locking damaged? How to check are they functional? Thank you for any advice

Hi mate, on my MK 1 TT roadster 03 plate my remote fob doesnt work at all, with having just the one key fob, but when i insert the key opening the door manually it opens and locks with the immobilizer on / off. however in order to gain access through the drivers door the immobilzer both hazards activate by inserting the key in the ignition barrel it de-activates it - My question is where do i start the programming process and what method would you suggest to get it back to default- am newbie on the Audi TT Mk1 so any help would be greatly appreciated.. Hi Sorry to bother you with as this as old video and you're likely not to reply now but I have this exact same issue on a 1999 TT and I am struggling to fix it even with this method. Can you please remember in what sequence you did this? Lock/unlock etc...??? Any help would be greatly appreciate.. Thank you
