Omni Man is the definition of a dynamic character. He doesn't need to be a "perfect" hero, he just needs to continue to change.

In season 1 yeah technically Nolan is a villain because he opposes the protagonist and has obvious signs of being a fascist. In season 2 not so much

A fantastic psychological question, but first Viltrimites are more like Sayains. If someone, one person, exterminates a colony of ants, is that person considered evil? To the ants, of course! But to another human, the ants were in the way of a highway. I haven't read the comics, but I'm sure Viltrimites, use the resources from other planets (I'm more of a business man and seek an agreement, but humans are less diplomatic) on their home world. They wouldn't just fly around exterminating entire planets for shits and giggles. So to him it's just another day at the office as a bug exterminator, but to humans it's the greatest evil ever.

I see him as a loyal soldier to his planet who turned native due to his time on earth or with his family. He tried to humiliate and beat mark to near death as his way of trying to push his love for mark away. It was only until mark said "I'll still have you..." That omni man was speechless and his facade shattered in pieces. Even after everything omni man did , mark still expressed that he loves his father. My only gripe with omni man was that he had another family on another planet only like a year after the events of the Chicago fight. It was like he didnt learn anything. Found a replacement family. I couldnt stand it. Lost my respect or sympathy for him right there. If omni man dies, I probably be like "meh"

Yes. He kills innocent people for hardly a reason. He'll have his redemption arc but that's still a long way off.

I would like to think that Nolan is a being that was born, raised & indoctrinated in an almost totalitarian empire. From the moment viltrumites are born, they are raised & brainwashed into believing that they are superior beings who serve true significance in others’ lives. They believe that they & they alone are the only life form that is worth living & therefore, conquer others. While yes, Nolan killed countless of innocent beings, he did so because he believed it to be right. He believed that by doing so, he was serving the viltrumite empire well, thus serving himself well. Remember, as he saw the dead thraxans that were killed by the viltrumites, he wept & said “I’m not supposed to feel this way” meaning, he was raised not to feel such sympathy to what viltrumites see as “lesser beings”. All & all, his redemption arc is great.
