that 200mph top speed for Dash, its just a start, hes like 10 or something, his lets are around the size of Bobs hands or slightly longer, just imageine when he grows up (and if he grows up to be around the height of his dad, then thats an insane amount of speed increase) i can see him breaking the sound barrier
the one comic where the villains sit around the poker table, betting their loot on the game and talking about where they like to do their crimes, then theres one of them talking about Flashes turf and asking why nobody goes there, and the other villains just tell these stories about the joker and other guys i dont remember going there, being beaten in no time, and one of them being traumatized because he could not escape to other citizes, planets, dimensions, and even the end of the universe, because the flash is always either there or is almost there, then it ends with flash finding those playing villains after he finds the guy that didnt know not to mess with the flash and the city he protects
If Daemon really wanted the throne as badly as some claim he does. Viserey's and Rhaenyra would have "mysteriously" died in their sleep a long time ago.
Really good video. A lot of the power aspect can be summed up with Brandon Sanderson’s rules: limitations > capabilities. The more organic( key word) challenges you can throw the better. Something I find is very understated with Barry or Wally is that they need to eat a lot of food. That makes sense given their powers burn calories like nuts. Imagine a situation where they spent most of their money on food and can’t afford anything more or they didn’t eat enough calories and have to solve problems without their speed. Or if they want to lean into the stupid slow motion stuff with super speed; at least throw in some limitations. Edgerunners did this well with a nosebleed for David when overusing it. Or heck JLU flash he had to build up speed to tap into the speed force by running a bit. And nearly got lost into it. Any kind of organic, clear limitation that’s consistently used.
It’s honestly just depressing that the whole scenario thing you talked about, Reverse Flash making the Flash train harder and him needing to regain discipline, etc, is explored in a fucking LEGO Flash movie. It’s short, but that’s the overall theme of that.
You gotta give the actors props, they took digs at their own movie knowing its bad and wasn't angry with the public's reaction. Cause you know, some Disney actors just lash out against the public when their ultra feminazi movie didn't do well.
@@MovieF8 - I saw it IMAX, because I’m an AMC A lister and I get 3 free movies a week. So I saw Madame Web and everybody in the theater had a great time laughing at how terrible this film is. I hope it becomes a cult classic.
@@MovieF8 - I saw it for free with my AMC A list. And I saw it in IMAX with like 60 other people and we were all laughing at how terrible the dialogue and performances were. It’s just a hilarious good time. I hope it becomes a cult classic like Room.
but for real now, this is just bs. Female lead movies are awesome. Alien, Terminator are the ones that automatically come to mind. Madame Web is a really bad movie, I watched it too and some people left the theater. I don't blame them.
The Long Kiss Goodnight, Terminator, Alien/Aliens, Blue Eyed Samurai, Kill Bill, Arcane and many more. All female led and yet beloved by male audiences (far more than female audiences) but that doesn’t suit the feminist narrative does it? If it’s crap, it’s crap regardless who’s leading it. For further evidence, see the box office results of male lead crap, such as ‘The Flash’ ‘Black Adam’ ‘Morbius’ ‘Blue Beetle’ - Could go on forever.
The moment his cheery disposition soured and he became distrustful and destrctive instead of happy go lucky and creative. And..... the moment he reclaimed that side of himself and became the leader of the Guardians.
Soldier Boy may have been an asshole but in comparison to Homelander he's actually quite reasonable. He's definitely not what you'd call a good guy but he's definitely good when compared to the psycho man child, Homelander. Also Jensen Ackles plays Soldier Boy so well and was extremely hilarious that I couldn't help but like him.
Homelander is definitely one of the best villains I've ever seen. He's so utterly despicable but infinitely entertaining too. Antony Star absolutely kills it as Homelander. No one could play this role like Antony Star.
I wish all upcoming joker was made this way just pure Pyscho rather than some just getting revenge because he was bullied. Why cant we have just a pure villain just pure maniac and psychotic villain no revenge back story just pure psycho.
@@MovieF8 no offense to Pheonix Joker but i really hate how they made that Joker kinda like an emo revenge villian while in thr original comic joker is just completely insane
@@leonneldayoc5715 Agreed, the movie was good but I got pretty dissapointed also! Joker for me have big brains to hurt people as much as possible and I didn’t see that in Phoenix at all🤝
You do realize that the boys comics is kind of a rewrite of the marshal law comics. There is a character called the public spirit who is basically homelander but he debuted before homelander
Your final Argument is a good explanation why Grodd is actually a good counter to Flash. Superbrain might clock in at a similiar speed as a Speedster, even if the body does not. But reading the mind of the Speedster lets you know where he is going to be.
Feels like the writers realised too late that they made Soldier Boy way too likeable and tried to throw him under the bus with the whole "he never stormed D-Day" angle. Which is within itself a terrible wiritng choice as they threw away an opportunity to show the disparity between a legitimate hero who killed nazis (Soldier Boy) having to come to terms with the fact that every hero in the modern day is a phony junkie who shits on what he thought a hero could be. Something like that is easily represented even in fight scenes where the skilled battle hardened Soldier Boy mops the floor with all of the PR "heroes" who dont even know how to fight against someone equal to themselves. An old timey legitimate hero brought to the modern day only to see how far his dream has fallen and then having to humble every supe he comes across to accomplish his mission would of been fantastic in sowing conflict amongst any supe that comes across him as they realise they aren't even close to being as good as they should be.
One of the highlights in 40k is good and evil is not a faction but a choice for each individual. Another be there no singular story line. Star wars has the Skywalker legacy. Almost every(current) lore of Star wars comes in contact with Skywalkers. Despite having a massive universe. Most story plots focus on this one tree with many branches. 40k has a bit of a main tree but it is a tree in a massive forest with new trees growing every year. New characters and events with most never coming into contact with one another. This made the galaxy feel massive. There is just not one warfront but hundreds. Each with their own cast of character and story. Their own definition of right and wrong. In hopes. That's when more mainstream media of 40k comes out. They will keep the ability of just making the storyline from multiple points of view with multiple settings and not be tied down like Star wars.
What scares me the most in Homelander, its that hes so unpredictable. He can smile at you poke a little fun at you and 10 sec later squash your head against the wall or laser you in half😮
