Just game and party, voice will have to be recorded with an external mic through your PC on a program like Audacity but yes you will still be able to hear everything through your headset as well :)

That is a good question, however I do not know off of the top of my head so I will have to get back to you on that. I may make a video on what settings to use for the elgato so make sure to stay tuned!

Yes because your audio will not be recorded only your party, that's a very good point that I forgot to mention in the video thank you. You will still need your own mic to record your voice, you can use the Elgato commentating option or a program like audacity.

I just found out that you can, but heres the catch, you have to connect the 520 to the computer (using the USB dongle) and allow all audio being pushed to the computer to then be pushed through the headset. Once you're in OBS you need to configure your settings to allow all audio from the game to be pushed through your PC then set OBS to record all PC audio (this will record the gameplay audio and allow you to listen to it at the same time just keep in mind it will also pic up any PC audio too like videos, notifications, and so forth). For the mic you'll just need to tell obs to use the headset mic as the primary mic. Sounds complicated but I know its possible, I just dont know how to do it step by step since I have never tried. Hopefully you can find a tutorial on youtube for this.

Create a party, send the invites, once they are in your party and your stealth 400p/500p are connected follow the steps and they should be coming through your TV and headset. Just mute the tv and you're good to go :)

I think you might be missing one step in the video, I've tested this out too many times for it not to work. The only thing I can say is make sure that when you go to settings>device>audio devices and change the output device to "TV or AV amplifiers" as soon as you do that all of your party chat should be recorded automatically. If this still does not work let me know and I'll look a bit more into it , good luck!

Yup, If you can't then your volume on the headset is to low, turn it up by using the top volume control located on the back of the right earpiece.

Yes the audio coming through the headset till indeed change. In fact it will sound very different when you have it set to the settings mentioned in the video. The only thing I can say to work comfortably around that is to lower the volume on your headset by using the volume controls on the right ear piece of the stealth 400p/500p. Westical yes, this tutorial teaches you how to record party chat audio with the Elgato using the turtle Beach headset. This tutorial does not teach you how to record your voice with the turtle Beach headset. I am using the blue snowball USB mic to record myself in audacity. Hope this helps !

To my knowledge Elgato created a way around this by creating a special cable splitter that will allow you to use older headsets while plugging them into your controller. I'd look a little into it but personally I recommend the 400p/500p just to save the hassle from the wires :/ Hope this helps!

+ATMfifa the main issue is that once you connect the headset to the controller all audio will be pushed through the controller and the Elgato won't record it. As for the special cable that I mentioned before, it's called the "Elgato gaming chat link" it replaces all cables that you need and allow you to use any headset when recording party audio. I don't know how to use it so I recommend youtubing the name I quoted above. Whether it be the old one, HD60, or HD60s you'll either need that chat link cable or a headset with optical cable support. Hope this info was helpful :)

The elgato chat link? ehhh i have no experience with the chat link :( My only recommendation is to make sure you go into the ps4 settings to adjust your mic levels or check the elgato software to see if there is an option to increase mic levels through there

Yup yup!! The guy you hear at the end of the video was the one who taught me how to do this and he uses the 400p so you're all good :)

you should have 2 volume controls on the right ear piece. make sure they are both turned up, also make sure you have the "output to headphone" setting is set to "chat only" Let me know if you figured it out :)

It does something weird with the volume controls so make sure to put in game and chat audio to max volume. (Using the volume wheel thing located on the back of the right ear piece) Hope this helped :)

Hey Anthony, yeah bro exactly the same for me, I'm using the 500P's and changed the settings but can't hear anything out of the headset when I do the steps. All Audio comes through my tv :(

SeaGulliver Hey man, lets see if we can get this fixed. First, when you go into your audio device settings did you make sure to set the Output to headphone setting to "Chat Audio" before switching Output device to "TV or AV amplifier?
