I just bought a smartwatch thinking all the same things, and exactly 2 weeks i got tired of it. I just now use mine for recording my rides in cycling, just going out and wake up alarm. Glad i didnt spend a huge amount on it.
That was helpful. Thanks. I was on the fence cause I don't really need it. So for me it'd just be a neat gadget more than something that's actually helpful too me.
Honest review to watch before buy smartwatch. I'm not really wanted buy smartwatch because of functionality. But because it's looks cool and can do a lot of stuff. But realize something. I don't really use that functionality like check notification and change music.
Smart watch health tracker is very useful for some. That's it. Don't need Apple watch to do that. Otherwise, save yourself from being tethered to it, and get a traditional watch. It will run forever and much more meaningful.
I just tested the 500P against the 600 Gen2 and Sony pulse 3D. Stealth 500P pumps comparing, not sure why these newer models dropped the volume. Thanks for your review bro
Very helpful review, but he kept mentioning that most of the features seemed pointless bc he did them on his phone anyways. But I think the point of a smart watch is that you don't have to always have your phone on you. I am thinking about buying one, mostly so that I don't have to bring my phone everywhere especially for quick things like runs, shopping,. etc.
This is an excellent clip. Very clear assessment of real life review of the product and then it's utility to your specific needs. Has been most helpful indeed!
Most ppl never use 85% of their gadgets full features. So ur paying a fucking shitload of cash for 15% of its use. And the loser is.....u. and the winner is the company who u paid ur cash to.
Love your honesty :) 👍 If you need a fitness tracker you can buy one for $50. Maybe it’s not as accurate as an Apple Watch but does it matter if you are not an athlete?
Been on the fence for a while as I see my coworkers use their watches on the job since we have to keep our phones in the lockers. I honestly miss some very important texts (from family emergencies that no one could have predicted to just asking what I wanted for dinner) Watching a coworker just speak a reply and get back to work sounds so much better then finding out during my lunch break that my grandmother went to the ER almost four hours ago. She's 87, literally the moment something happens could be a last chance moment and I feel a hell of a lot better knowing that I'm not going to get off work and find out she passed that morning because I didn't bring a lunch and to choose between receiving my phone from the locker and running around the corner to el pollo.
It's interesting how lazy we've all become with technology. When I think more about it It's not that difficult for me to take my phone out of my pocket to check a text message. I keep track of my own fitness and my own goals so I do not need a watch to do it
A thought that I had while watching your video is that out of all the people I know who have smartwatches, it's mainly the women I know that take full advantage of their smartwatches. I can't speak for every woman, of course, but the friends of mine who are women said it mainly comes down to the continence of not having to dig through their purse for their phone to check every notification, or (with a cellular watch) they can leave their phone at home if they are going for a run while wearing a workout outfit that doesn't have pockets for a phone. Not to mention that the cellular watch offers an extra layer of safety for them: if their purse gets stolen with their phone inside it, they can still call for help. As a guy, I never have these kinds of problems because men's clothing always has roomy pockets that are plenty big for my phone no matter the occasion (casual, classy, workout, etc.). Personally, I think I would enjoy the novelty of it and probably consciously train myself to take advantage of the features so that I don't feel guilty for spending the money on it.
Definitely love my Apple Watch I can answer calls while driving with risking a ticket for being in my phone love the Apple Pay on the watch makes payments so easy don’t have to reach for my phone or wallet and when I’m at work I just ask Siri certain math problems if I need to cause I work at a gas station makes till calculations so much faster/easier and I can get notifications when my phone is set down/ away from me I wore a normal watch before for the time a date cause I’m horrible about what day it but since I wore a watch anyway might as well be a smartwatch
exactly as I expected, I don't need one at all and I'm not missing out on something I didn't realize, I'm just trying to make an excuse because it's cool tech
i just want to buy a smart watch only because i want to own one hah.... yet i can never pull the trigger to buy one because its true how maybe 90% of its features ill NEVER use besides customizing the look and the ability to receive notifications...and thats it really. maybe if i find a good used cheap one then ill buy one, just to finally get over the feeling of wanting one.
True review mate > utility value that we buy things for, usually becomes invisible/irrelevant as time passes > what remains is charging and overhead > I literally had switched to Casio F-91W as it just works, it is part of my body now, no charging and life is so simple.
