Was so happy to see that this method which I used to do like 4+ decades ago is still being practiced in this day and age of impact wrenches. Thank you for uploading this.
Thank you for the advice! I was stuck and this method worked like a charm. I used a long breaker bar to rest against the suspension arm and cranked the engine once over and voila the bolt was loose! I would not have thought of this without your video. Thanks again!
Thank you soo much. I struggled so hard with this until the starter bump tip... yes. I watch this up until you said bump start it . Ran outside and instant I have that bolt removed. Thank you
Oh my soul. Thank you for uploading this. I tired everything but that. Because I was scared of damaging something. Luckily I have a long power bar that I wedged into the ground and tried starting a couple of timesm at first it would pick my car up off the ground but gave it a few tries and boom it came lose. You just saved me alot of money
done it this way even though I have a impact gun. Sometimes you need to remove stuff to get access. Breaker bar and starter easy. in 2 seconds you will know it is legit.
Unfortunately I'm at the end of a motor swap. I'm trying to get my crankshaft pulley off in order to slide my motor over to clear the transmission and torque converter. I can't get my starter to turn over now. What other solution is there?
