Just want to say thanks again! I’ve now replaced both lights in record time on my 2009 LCI e61, it is the same torx 30 and 8mm. Although you did it, to get to the 8mm nut closer to the grills its worth removing back lens cover to get better angle, it has to come off to get the unit in anyway. Best wishes!

@ 0:54 loosen the nuts as much as you can, say 80% of the way, it will be easier to push the light assembly back into place Very easy job indeed, did it today.

Beautiful vid. I'm going to go try it myself, and I'm going to swap out the projector so (HOPEFULLY!!!) I stop getting the "adaptive headlights" warning in the car. I'll let you know how it goes. BTW - it's so funny, a mechanic told me that you have to remove the BUMPER to take these lights out. I guess he was lying. :)

@@dianaisrael6137they probably just didn't work on many foreign cars. Most newer car require the front bumper to be dropped down to remove the headlight

You don't show how to remove the actual bulb Sometimes the bulb is wedged right in the bulb holder. Get a flat head in between the metal bulb trim and the plastic holder and ply the bulb from the holder - there is no catches on bulb or any twisting needed to remove the bulb from the housing. Also you don't even need to remove any screws from the actual light housing when replacing the outside light - if your hands are small enough just remove the cover - twist the holder remove - install new bulb and reverse the uninstall procedure.

So that was the case. Bulb gets stuck. Stick something in between to create leverage in between the bulb and the connector in order to remove the bulb. No twisting

@@gulli10k taking the light off is slightly challenging, only because you have wiggle it free. But it's better because you have less of a chance of either dropping your bulb or damaging it. Take your time putting the light back on the car because I tried to rush and my headlight ended up slightly crooked lol

Hi! How did you pull out the smaller cable underneath?? It was like stuck for me.... it got a push button, i got it out a bit. but the metal lock makes it not come off..... XD
