Great video, I was concerned on removing the flange until I saw this. Now if I can get the existing metal hopper window out of the masonry opening as easy as this!
Thanks for demystifying this for me. I was curious. This makes it look VERY easy. Are windows with nail flanges cheaper than replacement windows? I talked to a remodeling guy who said he bought standard Home Depot windows and removed the flange. I am assuming that by "flange" he meant the nailing fin. He told me that he then simply tilted the window into place wher ethe old one was after removing the cables etc and caulked/added a trim piece to hold them in. Presto, nice new windows.
