Chevrolet silverado ltz suburban Tahoe GMC Yukon denali Sierra Center console removal... SEAT BELT REPAIR & SRS AIRBAG MODULE RESET AFTER ACCIDENT! www.safetyrestore.com/
I have the same truck mine is a 2007 model four-door LTZ and my airbag module was underneath the seat my rollover sensor is underneath the Center column in the place of your airbag module
The service shop at the Chevy dealer said airbags won’t go off unless the sensor is triggered by an impact crash. He said it was impossible for them to pop out unless the sensor is hit with a certain amount of force. I’m confused now. Or are they telling me this so I’m forced to bring it in and have them do it because this seems like a straight repair anyone can do vs $1,800 is what they asked for. Ya… no way.
It definitely does take force in order for the airbags to go off when it hits the sensors. But if you're messing with wiring under the - for under the hood, it's always best. Disconnect the battery if you have any issue with your wiring or while you're disconnecting it, it could cause the airbags to deploy.
10:31 Where can I find a ‘99-‘06 Chevy Silverado suburban full center console replacement part? I’ve checked around and it is only the top door that I find, if that.
