How to repair Orbit anti-siphon valve

I wish you would explain how it works. It would make things easier to understand.

Where can I buy those internal parts, and what are their part numbers? Also, why does mine only leak from that assembly when the program runs, and not when I turn the sprinklers on manually?

The problem I'm having is no plumbing store in our area sells parts for the Orbit brand as it is a Home Depot sold product. So I must buy the whole unit.

My valve leaked, I tightened it. The leak stopped but the sprinkler leaks from the top when the valve is turned off. What do I check and replace?

Shouldn't have to do this with half the valves I replaced that are only 6 months old!

Is there a minimum PSI incoming for the valve to work? I have reduced the pressure to my valves to 30PSI and it's leaking.

Is there a way to verify that backflow prevention is actually working. I have faced backflow event twice during last one month. Each time, I turned sprinkler system off, and drained some water to clear it. Now I'm afraid of turning it back on. Should I just replace valves, or repair just like this video? Thanks!

This is my issue; have a eater leak on one my anti siphon valve, unscrew it and inspect it as shown on video, all seals look ok, so I tried with another anti siphon valve in goos shape and still leaking water . What is this happening? Need advise, had to shut down my water system due to this leak, my law. Is turning yellow, please advise

I just installed 3 of the same values turned on the main water line everything was ok turned on the first set of sprinklers every thing was fine good pressure no leaks from valve and as soon as I turned on the second set I had leaks coming from the anti-siphon wasn't a constant leak more of a throbbing leak if that makes any sense and the leak was coming out of 2 and 3 valve units, if you have any idea what might be the problem I would greatly appreciate it! Before I start tearing it apart. Thank you sir!

How do you loosen the octogonal anti-syphon lid on a watermaster 57224?

How tight is the vent cap supposed to be? I only hand-tighten them and they bleed a bit.

I have a Orbit anti-siphon valve Model 57623, and the plunger seems to be stuck onto the lid. I bought a new unit at Home Depot and it is the same. Are the plunger and O-rings still removable/replaceable on this particular model?

I recently replaced the anti siphon lid seals to stop my leak and everytime they valve shuts off the box fills with water why is my lid still leaking?

neither of these are the orbit valve i own and there's literally zero documentation for my device anywhere online, including your own website.

Typical Orbit: leave everyone hanging with partial answers. Why not show us the package of the replacement parts that we will be trying to find at Home Depot among their 50,000 other parts? Show us the packaging and maybe a part number? No? Nice. About half of my Orbit valves (I have 15) are leaking somewhere. I have in the past just replaced the whole valve but Orbit was costing me too much money so I'm going to try this. Why not make better O rings? The valve section that is leaking doesn't even have any moving electronic parts - it shouldn't leak in the first place. Did Orbit make the O ring for the Challenger? If so that would explain a lot. Yes, I'm jaded because between your valves, your valve controller boxes and software, and worst of all, your various nozzles that require about 7 different screw drivers to operate, your stuff wastes people a lot of time having to deal with their issues.
