Bought a used engine for my 97 Camry 2.2 and did not change the rear oil seal ;( Developed a leak a month after, now I'm kicking myself for not changing it out :( Live and learn philosophy...Once out, I'll replace the all the seals including the transmission shaft seal. Just to be safe.
I saw your post and changed my rear seal out. I didn't know the differential oil is different from the transmission fluid. I would have changed it, too.
I removed 4 big bolts that hold the transmission to the engine but the transmission dont move at all,i think I removed everything except the torque converter bolts,the car is a lexus es 300 2001,guys what else i have to remove? im very frustrated whit this job 😊but im learning a lot with videos like yours, thanks.
