A how-to video on replacing front rotors on a W203 C-class Mercedes Benz Fitment C230 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 C240 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005
Just picked up an 05 C240 4matic. Got the rotors and pads for @100, and gonna change them. Do the rear calipers just push in, or do they screw in like on Japanese cars? Despite the hater with the negative comment down below, I found it informative and to the point. If one doesn't know how to compress a brake caliper, then they'll most likely pay someone else to do the job in the first place. Just sayin..
@Cake AJPW Not bad these cars should last 300k to 400k if maintained properly. I got rid of my stock wheels and picked up some staggered wheels off a early 2000s clk for a couple hundred. Wheels really change the look of these cars
@@E46BMWsandForeigns I've found sets of aftermarket wheels for just over $500. But for now, will be happy with the one stock rim, then I'll have a full size spare.
@@E46BMWsandForeigns, I would think it'll last longer than that. I have an 04 Tacoma crew cab with a 2.7l 4cyl, and just took it on the road from Naples to Valdosta and Tallahassee, and it's got 286,000mi on it. Runs like a top. The build quality on a Mercedes should be better than a Toyota. This is why I sold my 2001 Santa Fe, with 75k orig miles, 2.7 6cyl to my brother and sister in law for my nephew's first car. 👍
Real poor examination, an explanation of how to install rotors and pads you don’t show how you compress the piston in and all about a tree the callipers back on the car . Poor, poor video
