That's in good nick for a D610. I see it's not a recent upload but for what it's worth, I thought you did a feck of a good job at being informative compared to so many 'presenters'. I'd ignore the eejit comments about you talking, it's quick but it's almost entirely relevant or otherwise informative and COHERENT ... which is not exactly the speciality of many American RU-vid instructors who mostly seem not to realise their issue. I used to live there, so for me it's NOT in the accents, it's definitely in the 'can't be arsed to consider the viewer enough' cult of celebrity thing when cameras are about ... so I commend your efforts and will be using the fruits thereof in the very near future in resurrecting a couple of devices into further use [630's] now you showed me how easy it can be with a decent guide. I followed everything fine and am sure you had the right approach to life in fixing stuff your dad couldn't AFTER he'd bought new ... clever, clever, clever. I better stop commenting now, before some knob complains there are too many sentences in my response or whatever ? [Nope, that ain't likely to bother my arse, that's for sure]
YoU hAvE tOo MaNy SeNtEnCeS in all seriousness tho, this guy did a great job presenting everything. you are right, most people don't know how to present or explain anything right, then gets confused and mad that you are complaining when they are clearly doing a shit job and the bare minimum.
I saw one video of a guy refurbishing old game machine, and he used a plastic ice cube tray to keep the screws and small parts organized and secured from rolling.
HOW ON EARTH DID i GET A LAPTOP WHERE THE PROCESSOR HAD NO THERMAL PAST AT ALL???? WHAT'S MORE BAFFLING IS THAT IT EVEN WORKED????? I EVEN SEE DAMAGE MARKS AND IF COMPLETELY WORKED??? HHHHOOOOOWWWWW???
money reasons. laptops aint cheap and most people don't have nearly $1000 just laying around to buy a new laptop. plus considering this laptop is from 2005 and this video is from 6 years ago, he is likely doing it for those that like to mess around with legacy computers to see what they can do
