How to replace valve springs in LS1 cylinder heads. 

Curt, That is a nice compact tool for doing seals, springs or both. I noticed it has a left & right 3/8" drive, and most likely billet aluminum. A suggestion to Texas Speed I think you said they sold the tool. Two rare earth magnets 1/8" thick could be mounted on the vertical of each fulcrum if they cut a slot to catch the retainers. Some of these magnets have tapered holes that would let them use an Allen screw to hold in place. It would not get in the way or reduce the strength of the tool. Very nice! On the car, shop air is needed to hold the valves and you or I would grab a hose w/short plug adaptor from our cylinder leakage kit from SnapOn or Mac. Hold the crank with a breaker bar over the frame or suspension member. But pop it with a dead-blow hammer to loosen and remove. I have done many, way too many using the old hand crank compression tool. It takes forever but works. This tool fits basically all LS family engines. Have a good day Curt!
