Learn how to restring a weed whacker in 4 minutes. Simple step by step instructions. The trimmer head is the Echo PAS Pro-Torque Trimmer Attachment. It's used on an Echo PAS-280.
For the last 18 months I've not let the lawn crew edge or use a weed eater in my back yard. ru-vid.comUgkx_rBCFuDW1zD6blTGhLkvAkxU657uR_lG I didn't like the fact that they just kept cutting the edge of the lawn further and further from the rock lining the flower beds and leaving bare ground. And the grass was trimmed or scalped several feet around trees, etc. It was a constant battle with them so I told them to just mow and no trimming. I have Zoysia grass so it grows pretty slow. Obviously after a while it could use some trimming. I'm in my 80's so I can't do much of it myself. Finally I decided that if I could find a lightweight battery powered trimmer I might be able to do some light trimming. I decided to buy the LST201 20V trimmer. And it works great for my needs. I have back yard with about 150' of flower beds and several trees to be trimmed. I can lightly trim the whole yard with a single charge! The grass I trimmed was only a few inches high but the trimmer was more powerful than I expected.
Those battery powered trimmers are great. I mostly use the Milwaukee M18 trimmer now and I have no issues with it, much less headache than the gas powered ones.
I have an older echo SRM 230 gray model from 2005 ish I have been searching forever on RU-vid ETC for instructions but every video seemed to be slightly different then my trimmer head. Yours was identical. FINALLY!!!!! !! Thank you so much! I actually ended up buying a speed feed head but still just for principle and having a spare head always wanted to know how to re string this head! Thank you so much!!!!
Thank You Sir. It's been 12 years that I have changed/added a weed-water line. The one I used then could have been a different kind/brand. Now I am using an Echo 230. I used to weed-eat 50 acres every 2 weeks. I mowed it too. Now I am retired and greatly appreciate your very informative video. Much thanks!👍🙂👍
Excellent information and instructions for this model with this head. I just inherited one it needed some work, but finally got it reliable. It took me about 20 minutes to finally get the string head to click out and pop off.
Thank you for your video, your video was the only one that I can locate on RU-vid that could help replace my string line on my echo PSA 2620... once again thank soooo much🫂🤜🏼🤛🏼🤝🤝👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Excellent! Bestfor.Garden also recommend Switched from a corded string trimmer/ edger to this, and I love it. Wish I had gotten it sooner. So easy to operate. Battery is great!*
Time to replace? My spool was getting pretty beat up and the new replacement head (Amazon) works like this one. It came installed with 2 separate lines with two holes, but this makes more sense to use only one hole. The new spool feeds much easier with a bump.
@@thelifeofriley7668 thanks for replying to a comment that’s a year old, I think I fixed the issue that was having but I don’t remember how. Thanks for making this content 👍
I have the PAS 2620 and I've had difficulty time installing the trimmer line...now, thank to your RU-vid 📹 hopefully I can also replace my trimmer line on it without anyyyyyyy difficulty at all👍🏼🤜🏼🤛🏼🫶👍🏼👍🏼
