I use one o ring. Just hook it through one side of the ring and out the other. Always been fine for me.

A soft plastic worm costs like $.10? How much time are y'all spending to save a few pennies? I just hook it through the middle and don't sweat it too much if it rips.

Rubber bands are pointless, just hook the damn thing…
