How To Scrap Multitools! No Man's Sky Echoes Update
This is how to scrap multitools in No Man's Sky Echoes! The Echoes update is here for No Man's Sky, and it brings a ton of new features and changes with it. The echoes update brings a new race called the Autophage, a robot race on the outer edges of the galaxy of No Man's Sky. These new robots have tons of new weapons, armors and technologies to add to No Man's Sky. We have new multitools, new armor sets, and even a new freighter dreadnaught!

Kinda unrelated, but for anyone who wants a specific colour for your staff, just keep switching planet's for the assembly station. For some reason the staff's colour changes every time when you visit a new one.

Just a fyi. Any korvax system monolith will produce a new phage gun. I thought dissonant systems only, but I tried a regular and pirate, and it worked. Careful to have a slot open max is 6. Atm, I've seen 3 different versions.

I also tested that unlike with starships your tech slots do factor in to the price and modules, so for tier A and up it might be worth repairing the tool before dismantling.

You may use save editor to save your ships into files so you can have as many ship designs as you wish.

I can't agree more !! It's a shame we can't keep all the ships we like. The limit should increased to 50 if not 100 :p Also I'd like to change ship in any space station not just on ground or in the Anomaly.

I ran around and collected a bunch of the new multi tools. Now I'm stuck with em. The game hard crashes every time I try to scrap a multi tool.

Think it`s normal the end mission, and it`s not worth much. there is still duplication in the game, so do it matter. If you want endless something, it`s there.

Go to a monolith in a dissonant planet and interact with the terminal at the right of the main interface

Anyone else have a problem with the game crashing when you try to scrap the new multi tool from the echo update. I scraped my extra ones no problem but as soon as I tried scraping the new ones it crashed my game three times in a row.

It's endgame content so there's some missions that have to be completed first You have to have finished the Artemis main quest You have to have finished 'A Trace Of Metal' (there's guides online) And you have to have found a harmonic camp on a dissonant world and unlocked it at least once. After you've done those three, get into an Interceptor ship and warp to a system you've never been to before, and you'll get the hijack which starts the quest Hope this helps, it's a bit of a grind but it's endgame content for a reason🙃

Hi there, to start the quest you just need to simply use an echo locator in a dissonant system. Hope this helps.

Since scraping multitools can only be done in the Anomaly this mean this feature cannot be used in Fugitive mode 😢

Uncharted Systems Have No Set Species; Or Rather, They're A Catch-All For Any Species That Isn't One Of The Main 3. This Means, That, Your Freighter Crew Will Take On Everything From Anomaly Iterations (Like Eos, Helios, ETC.) To The Construct; They're Summoned In As A "Placeholder".

This thing literally scrapped all of my multitools except for the base one. Be careful when you use this and save. I had one equipped and all of my stuff including my staff was gone.
