Hi everyone 🤍 Today's video was unplanned -- it kinda just came out as I started recording one morning. I take you through a slow, restful, and quiet morning at home, and share how the Lord continues to shift my heart. For awhile, struggling through grief, I found it hard to live joyfully. Hard to see life as a gift. I knew deep down it was, and I always had trust that God would redeem all things, but I didn't emotionally feel that way. Truth is NOT based on emotions, and as humans, we aren't always going to emotionally feel joy, God's presence, and a zest for life. And that's okay. But I wanted to share how the Lord has reminded me along the way that the breath in my lungs is a gift that I should never take for granted. I pray this encourages you in the ways that it has encouraged me. Whatever you're walking through, turn to Jesus. We are not promised an easy life, but we are promised Himself. Let him show you that is more than enough. I'm so thankful He is refreshing a joyful spirit in me (although, it never left because joy from the Lord can't be taken away -- I mean so in an emotions/feeling type of way). And I know that emotional joy comes and goes -- but take heart. Truth is beyond our feelings. But trust that God cares for you so deeply through all the highs and lows. He is true joy and true life. This life isn't about us, but about Him. What an honor to be apart of His story.
