This video may be three years old but 👏👏👏 it’s a rare talent (like this guy) to be able explain things to people succinctly & get results. I’ve watched some videos re Hive including a British Gas chap & quite frankly they are all rubbish. Thanks for this video.
Mate, thanks soo much! Have been following the guidance on the Hive website for the past hour and no joy, watched yours and within 5 mins it was done! 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Just like the previous comment, have spent so long reading manuals and following the advice on the standard guidance, I need to reset my thermostat and as soon as I did this, connected to the hub and now have can control it on my phone. GOD BLESS for your video.
thanks for correct info, not complete nonsense as on line, spent one hour trying, your guide took 3 seconds, sick of idiots, posting complete nonsense online, and thankful for the good people like you, only had to reset cause of dead batteries. you are awesome and the best friend.
Thank you I had no heating my thermostat fell in a bucket a little water dried and did what you said……..thought I was going to have to buy a new one! Now to pair thermostat to wi fi lol
Thank you for this video. My replacement thermostat wouldn't connect, it was searching for 30 minutes plus. After the factory reset method you showed, it connected in seconds.
Taaa fella it worked but some reason mine still says the temperature is around 22.8c and it's only 14c!! Plus only in middle of September Is the thermostat faulty?? The water heating comes on automatically but noticed the the central doesn't come on in the morning when its around 8c
Just tried to replace my Thermostat (as apparentley it was not performing correctly) with the one sent to me by Hive. Hopeless instructions, couldn't get it to connect to receiver. Watched this video and it was connected the very next attempt! Maybe Hive should link out to this instead of their crap instructions. Anyway thanks very much for this, sorted!
My Hive Hub 360 upgrade failed and Hive say it's a one way upgrade and has killed my lovely working original Nano-Hub. Hive now want me to pay for a third hub to restore my service. The HIVE documentation does not warn H360 upgrade will kill working products - caveat emptor!
