This might be a dumb question but my main screen is a 48” LG OLED tv and then I have 2 24” monitors on either side. Is there a way to make this setup work even though the screens are different sizes? Or would this simple not work in my situation?
I think it can be done although I have not tested it myself. I would imagine if you set up NVIDIA surround with your three monitors and just used the resolution of the combined monitors it should work out for you👍🏻 Forza doesn't have native triple support so the slight image distortion will be the same regardless of what setup you have I would imagine.
It works well at my place! Hovever i have one issue: the rpm, gear, and speed diplay is all the way on the right side. Is there a way to move it in the middle or somthing else? I would also try diy methods like put my phone under the screed and display it that way. I'm using it at a normal setup, not sim racing. I'd be happy to get your help / ideas
I would always advocate for flats as I think they are easier to set up and I don't see the benefit of a curved set up personally. However, if this is what you have you should not have a problem.
Did you think that your tip can be used in the most games? I think how fantastic should be run street fighter with 3 ultrawide monitors or 3 samsyng ark 49
More than likely not. Some games have ultrawide support but not to the extent of a triple span. You would also need an FOV calculator for any first person stuff. Wouldn't hurt to try though 😅
the tool doesnt work for two monitors, i have a 32 and a 27, do i need to adjust FOV too? how? i put them at an angle so that they cover about 70% of my full FOV
@TraumaTeamRacing got it working, tried to run forza on 2 monitor surround and it doesn't recognize it.. no games would. Have to use triple monitors or nothing.
Hi, I´ve been following your tutorials, They´ve been very useful to play all kind of racing games on triple screens but I have never been able to enjoy forza horizon 5 because the graphics are very poor, mainly the electric power cables that are all over the map, I have to use 8X antialising to correct this problem but with a very high fps cost, if I try dlaa the game totally crashes and if i use super sampling (I only can chose one, SS or AA in the game) the power cables looks terrible and also the game crashes at launch with no error message at startup after series 14 update (3874530), I have to try to open it from 3 to 10 times, it´s a game breaker. Do you have any advice for this situtation?
Without knowing the exact configuration of your hardware it is difficult to help. Forza can be very graphics intensive and even with a heavy hitting GPU it can struggle on triples. Perhaps your hardware is not up to the task?
i font know why, but in the settings in FH5 i cant change the resolution to anything i like... there are only the already provided standart resolutions.
@@TraumaTeamRacing its all top of the line stuff, rtx 4090, 2 matching 4k 144hz monitors both using display port, I had 1x hdmi and 1 display port before but now both are display port, thanks for responding btw
Ich komm gar nicht in die FOV settings rein, bzw stehen bei mir gar nicht drin. Aktuelle FH5 version. Habe die Auflösung laut trible screen übernommen.
@@TraumaTeamRacing Your videos for setting up acc and ams2 helped me a lot, only in forza 5 it doesn't work because i can't enter exactly what frame width, what size of monitor, what angle the outer ones have.
@@ethan_s6592 I have heard that sometimes NVIDIA does not play nice with different screen sizes and brands. I have also heard of issues if they are connected via HDMI and not display port? Are you doing any of these?
Heeelp, i have 3x 34 2k monitor, but i cant use the 2k on surround, it does not show the resolution any ideas why it dont shows up? When im not on surround Mode i can use the triple on 2k res without problem. But when i activate surround it only shows full HD triple :(
There are lots if factors that could be at play. Cables can also affect this. All the monitors being the same. NVIDIA is great when it works but unfortunately a few have had issues such as this. Are you using all latest gen display port cables?
@@TraumaTeamRacing I solved it with CRU (Custom Resolution Updater). I was using 1x Displayport and 2x HDMI. Just changed the settings to make the Displayport same settings as HDMI and worked perfectly. The problem is: My 1080TI don't handle the QHD 7680x1440 Resolution. So i will stick on full hd for now (triple) 5760x1080; Another thing i wish you could help me: On triple monitor how u ajust the MINIMAP and Velocimeter to center monitor? Its on HUD settings? I did not found it. Thanks for all
Ahh quick I need help, I followed all steps and started driving but to my surprise my screen is practically pitch black. I am able to see flashing lights, nametags and the speedomoter as well as map but its very strange, any advice? :)
@@TraumaTeamRacing Re Watched but with no avail, then fiddled around with controls for a bit and dropped the screen size by 1 place and it works perfectly! Though as my final question, is there anyway to quickly get out and quickly get into triple screen fh5 gaming? By this I mean that when I have to do work I need all 3 monitors individually, but when I want to play fh5 I would prefer it spread across the screen. I was wondering if there was a way to quickly switch or if I have to use Nvidia Control Panel repetitively? :) Thanks Very Much

If i use the nvidia surround i can only choose 60hz. I sadly have 3 diffrent monitors, one with 165hz and the other 2 with 60hz. is it possible that i can choose for my main screen the 165hz and for the others 60hz?
I'm afraid that surround has to be run with the lowest setting out of the 3 monitors connected. In this case 60Hz. You have to remember it is a singular image stretched, not 3 separate renders so you can't partition it.

@@shlurpz969 First of all congratulations. For this title yes it will appear stretched. It does not have native support so we are making do. For other titles there is a fair bit of set up involved some have native some do not. it works kinda. But this is not real triple support. There is no correction for the 60degrees angle. So think keep looking weird. Its not like in real sims.
Yhea, more like a Supa-Dupa Ultrawide curved-ishh monitor. By opening monitor angle, you'll reduce the effect. This trick can be used to improve Framerate on demanding games as well, Rendering one large frame is actually less demading than rendering 3 frames despite the fact that there is the same pixel count overall.
Basically all the issues would be solved if we had all the same monitors with the same refresh rates. Nvidia surround doesn’t know what to do with different resolutions and sizes.
@@iSimRally Definitely not. All of the adjustments demonstrated would be best suited to ultrawide users. There is no native triple adjustment here at all and no accounting for monitor angle.
Any chance there is a method without surround (or eyefinity ofc), because surround... well fucking sucks unless you have a dedicated set of sim monitors and PC lol.

@@TraumaTeamRacing Oh but hey, turns out the standard "edit config file in windowed, use borderless gaming" trick works. First time i checked find in notepad somehow missed the resolution settings haha.
hi, u think that in 7:01 u showing good example of FOV? lol sorry mate but looks terrible. Forza Horizon 5 don't support triple screen. In my opinion proper FOV is when urs mirros are not deform in the side screens. Check my videos from acc i ac1.
I am not sure love is the correct term as the disease is indeed terrible and we still don't have a solution for it. But you are in a sense correct as there is a 1.2 increased risk of Alzheimers and other neurodegenerative disorders when associated with acute macula degeneration (AMD). I'm not sure how this disease process is linked to triple screens though 🤔

Thank you for the comment. All subjective I'm afraid. I really enjoy this and get a kick out of it. Sorry its not for you. I agree though this is just a work around and hopefully Turn 10 can sort out proper triple screen implementation. That would really be a game changer. Hopefully they do this for the new motorsport game coming soon👍🏻
