How To Ship Depop Packages in Canada | Everything You Need To Know! 

As a new depop seller, it was extremely hard to find answers on how shipping works in Canada until I came across this video! This video was very helpful to me and many others I'm sure :) Thank you so much!

I wanted to start selling on Depop but the shipping process was pretty intimidating. After watching this video I am much more confident in starting to sell.

Super helpful video! FYI, Canada Post Regular Parcel does not come with a tracking number. You need to ship Expedited. Usually the same price or a bit more. Can you do a shipping video talking about international and US shipping please.

Dollarama has rolls of bubble wrap at a good price and get bubble mailers from Walmart it’s cheaper I also use postal codes in BC as I’m in Ontario and use that shipping rate from Canada post random Pizza Hut postal code. Also if you provide a business license you can get cheaper rates as you can get a Canada post business card.

I had such a hard time figuring out shipping for depop especially in canada and I watched every video I could find and still didn't really get it. I had my first order and shipped it in a box and when I went to the post office near my house I was able to ask the employee all my questions and it really cleared things up. I signed up on the Canada Post website and got a Small business account and card so I would get small discounts. First thing I shipped was a decently sized box with a big fleece hoodie in it Montreal-Winnipeg and it cost 6.50$ shipping (I had the box already). I was surprised it wasn't that expensive so I lowered all my shipping prices and then started losing my profits bc the two packages I've shipped since then (both to Ontario) cost 12$ to ship. Both were super light small items in envelopes. I'm super confused about how to lower the price even by just a dollar. One of my envelopes had something kind of sticking out in the middle and the employee at the post office had to measure it as being the size of the whole thing even though it was just that one part so I learned I should flatten my parcels more. It's so complicated for me still

Does it have to be you whose dropping the package off or you can ask someone else to do it for you? Also, do they ask for id when you send the package? Thank you for your help. 😘😘

You can get padded bubble mailers for around $0.20 each on eBay from China, with free shipping to Canada. Definitely not good for the environment, but you can get them.

Also when you say you don't ship to the US at the moment, how do you only ship to Canadian buyers? Is there an option to make your account only visible to Canadian buyers?

I have a question, when you set up ur shipping when ur uploading an item u put the price of either tracked shipping or untracked shipping in the “my own shipping” price right? and then what happeneds if they chose the other shipping u put,, u jus change it?

I have a question - when you did ship outside of the country (US and/or international) was the home-printed label from snap ship/paypal sufficient, or did you need to affix any other labels for a specific form of parcel shipment? The Canada Post website has customs labels, as well as stickers that signal if the package is expedited/express/etc., but I cant find any information regarding whether those are necessary when shipping outside of Canada and/or using a specific service.
