Thank you. I have irregular windows and I‘m desperate for the blinds to match. This will make my options easier. I am curious to ask whether if it’s the same process to deduct about 20 inches worth of length?
Hi Rommel, the cut allowance for length is only 10”. This info is based if you have a blind that you bought from us at Lotus & Windoware. Other manufacturers may allow more to be cut on the length. Shortening the blind more than the 10” may cause for the cordless mechanism to not work properly. Feel free to call us if you have any other questions. www.lotusblind.com
Do we really need to remove the slats ? I mean, if the extra slats just rest on the window sill, isnt that good enough ? Anyways this is the best video for the job.
Moiz Mohd you don’t have to remove the extra slats however I have many customers that do not like to see the extra slats at the bottom of the blind. I guess it’s good to have that choice. If it’s just one or two slats I personally wouldn’t mind leaving it as is. Thanks for your feedback.
