Been stacking small wins everyday like making my bed when I get up in the morning. Make sure my kids get on The bus on time working out every morning at 3 AM. Potty training my 6yld autistic son every day.

Man, that hit home when you said that you were molested as a kid. I was, too. It took me years to dig myself out of the pit of despair and self-loathing that it caused. I was a depressed and anxiety ridden mess who turned to alcohol in order to numb myself. This just led me further into depression. I hated myself, I couldn't do anything right, and I didn't believe I would ever be a better version of myself. "It is what it is," was what I always told myself. That all changed when I decided to go to therapy, to start weight training again, to stop drinking and set goals again. Suddenly a better version of myself didnt seem so out of reach, I'm right there. Now I'm bound and determined to push as hard and far as I can possibly go, and nothing will stand in my way. I silenced the inner bitch. 😂 Your channel is a gem, Bedros. I'm glad that I found it. Happy New Year!

Man you seriously speak to my soul. I was abused by my father physically and mentally and I coped with it by extreme drinking. I’m high functioning and run a commercial finance business, but you really show me I have so much to grow.

God Bless the Armenian People. My father taught me to be prejudiced and I live in Fresno, CA where there is an entire community of Armenians. I learned the hard way it doesnt pay to dislike someone just for the sake of thier ethnicity. Bedros is like my brother now only one year younger and we have been through many of the same experiences. His videos and podcasts give me hope and get me off my ass!

Truth After years of counseling and growing , EMDR therapy is what helped me process through my traumas. Sexual verbal physical hatred of self. Victory is yours if u are willing. Hope this may help someone. Dig deep and reveal the truest self.

I haven’t had a voice in my head until late last year. I think it’s part of a victim mindset, but having that and a self love means I couldn’t be critical of myself, I would overlook all my shortcomings and have gotten nowhere in life. But I still felt like shit because my life wasn’t what I wanted it to be, dead end job, wife who ignored me and treats me like furniture. But I asked god to give me back that voice, which I believe is our conscience, the part of you that tells you when you aren’t doing the right thing, and it’s back, and it tells me exactly what I’m doing wrong, and it’s hard and painful because I have a lot of inertia to overcome but I am moving.

BEDROS. Ive been doing jiu jitsu for 15 years. I do both gi and nogi jiu jitsu. Keep training in both the Gi can compliment your nogi game and vice versa. Luv your podcast 😊keep up the good work in 2024🥊🥊🥊

The way you dealed with the fear of going back in the water by “positive reinforcement” is the way I completely healed myfucking debilitating panic attacks in a year. Idk If you remember my comments at the beginning of the year but i’m cured! PS. Biggest lesson I learned: things happen WITHIN you not TO you. I decided to not identify with anxiety and changed all my habits that were causing that disregulation in my brain = brain regulated = no more panic attacks

I’ve watched more than 10 of your videos and I think the messages you put out are really good and seem to help a lot of people for which I am thankful. Men today need a tough talk at least every two weeks. What sticks out to me a lot about you is that you need to work a bit on being more humble. I struggle with this 24/7/365! I’m stacking wins at age 51 but this is still an issue. Contemplating therapy🤔 My inner bitch is one annoying SOB that simply won’t shut the F up! I use mantras and self awareness to maintain. The issue is deciding if we need outside help to deal with the roots of the problem. Love the messages in your content👊🏻👊🏻👊🏻

I practice many of the concepts that you discuss, but I know I have further to go. I am not satisfied with status quo. I must be MORE! It's not easy but I refuse to give up. I've heard it said, you have to be your own best ally. The world is full of enemies coming at you daily. You should not add to that motley crew with your own negative self talk. I'm living this. Keeping my self-talk positive. Celebrating wins like losing weight, reading more, writing, etc. I'm proud of me (as conceited as that sounds :) ). More on the way for 2024.
