Thank you! Taking my kid to Tokyo for Spring Break in March. This will be our 2nd trip, haven't been to many of the places you have suggested ( we spent 12 days in Tokyo and surrounding areas in 2018). We will be in Tokyo for 7 nights plus 4 nights in Nikko National park. Looking forward to it!

That sounds like a great itinerary! There's something for everyone, and it shows many aspects of Tokyo. Very nice! Even though I can speak Japanese a bit, I'd be hesitant to go to a neighborhood Izakaya or Snack Bar without a local, so I think it would be great to have a guide like you, Meg!

If you are into shopping, Ginza is one of your options to stay. It's a bit pricey compared to other areas but still worth visiting.
