Maybe for the long run you need all this but for a simple small moving business just simple general liability. Most people starting out wont have the means for workers comp and etc. But all in all good video.

I mean c'mon I've worked for the same 2 or 3 guys who definitely never had insurance. The shipper would sign in 3 places where then I would let them know Maryland law says they are automatically insured at 60 cents a pound (which ain't shit!) and we maxed out at 60 BUCKS!! It can be a real crooked business but so are some customers, cause I've definitely seen my share 'em. Yeah working for companies with names like "Dollar Movers" and "Affordable Movers" only really gave us the the bottom of the barrel moves always at a flat rate where we'd move shit ton of beer boxes with packed books. So say 3/4 of a 26-27 ft truck for 350$!! So it sounds shitty and it was but 4 of us doing speed moving finished that job in under 3.5 hours so we could get to another job with possibilities of a raise, ya'see that's when the boss isn't there cause we'd follow his brand new Mustang to the first job and I'll tell ya he was a good salesman (sorry but my mentor Jim from Dollar Movers passed 2 winters back, about two hours after picking me up from a job I had to stay behind at while the truck left to get to job 3 leaving me to do all this petty Bullshit all over the house) but Jim took 3 or 4 hours from the time the truck left till he came and the lady...(smirk) wanted him to come in so she could voice her complaints to him and he was so jacked on juice(Roids) he couldn't even give a third of a turd what that woman was crying about. Meanwhile the whole 4-4 1/2 hours me and her moved shit around the house she never once said anything to me up about any fuckin god-damned complaints! Oh yeah you've probably had this happen to ya as a mover cause it happens alot but the sometimes the shippers can be such assholes throughout the move and won't even give you an icecube after giving me nasty warm tap water while she drinks an icecold Coca-Cola. So what I'm saying is right when I was leaving she ran up mumbled something about a god(which I'm an atheist) and handed me what I thought was like 3or4 twenties I put em in my pocket while Jim went into some house to do an estimate after we left the lady so while I sat in the car I dig into my pocket to look at the tip and it was four 100 mothafuckin Stripper Spankers!! So now you're probably wondering if I gave the other 3 their part of the tip...Well yes but only twenty apiece seeing as how she gave me the money maybe cause I helped her rearrange the whole house. See when we got there (new house) she was at the bank and so we had unloaded, funny I remember but 163 beer boxes of books in her living room so she wigged out about'em when she arrives saying they go in office on 3rd floor, yet we all ignored her because it's an asshole rule I have where I do not pick up after planting something down especially a heavy piece like a huge fuckin armoire you struggle to get up to the 3rd floor of the townhouse and afterwards the woman changes her mind and wants it in the basement for storage. No-NO-NO!! That's main reason I don't do hourlies cause they can have you do whatever they want while you're on their clock. Fuck that!!...next thing y'know they gotta pool table in the garage they forgot about oh and a 1865 player piano weighing in at over 1000lbs easily in of course the attic. Yeah oKay FuckO!! Anyways the guys got to do another job and made more money cause now they're splitting their cut only 3 ways and not 4. Yes I don't steal tips cause I've had a good share taken from me in the past. Sneaky fuckers, I tell'em now when the customer hands me the tip after paying her bill and as always do ask her if she can hand it to each individual, this way there is no plotting or assumptions.
