So this year I started to help out a charity down in Stroud. We happen to have a red mombin (this tree, but red like he said) growing in the UK somehow 🤔 we have a single tree so I'm hoping to propergate some cuttings now the tree is dormant, doing my research ahead of when I'll probably be doing it. You're the only channel to post about them in the last few years so thank you Edit: I'm the youngest person there by a couple of decades, they're all 48 and into their 50s and 60s. I'm the tree person so I get all the tree stuff 🙂 I'll be asking the person in charge there if he wants any more of these trees cause we loved the taste!

Here in central Florida they refer to hog plums to Ximenia americana and it's thorny bush with very narrow leaves. Doe snot look like the same tree.
