Cas, you’re explaining organizing verbally while physically demonstrating it. This type of teaching is easy for most any kind of learner. Most people don’t learn by just reading, we might memorize “facts” but after the test, it’s next to impossible for most people to retrieve that information from the brain much later on. However when you watch someone do something and hear them explain it as you/they DO it’s appealing to a kinesthetic, and auditory learner at the same time. The more senses one can use while learning how to do something the better their chance of remembering, and success in repeating it later. So maybe you’re not a math teacher but you’re still a successful teacher in you’re own speciality, organizational skills. Trust me when I say there are lots of school teachers who are great at their craft but not great organizers. Some can do both but not all. Yet all those skills are valuable.

Organizing tip for stickers… I’ve used 2 different methods. Again, follow the first rule…if you are not using them, declutter & donate! But if you do use and want to keep stickers, I either use an accordion file folder and label each tab by season/category/theme/color, or use a 3 ring binder and sheet protectors! This has helped keeping them organized and easy to sort through, and I find we actually use them because we can actually find them!

That how my husband felt about me, before the mimi- stroke. I look back an I was able to do so much. He met me when,I was a single mother of two extremely well behaving children 7 and 10 years old. So he thought that we could have 5 with his help they would also be well behave children. Nobody. Our first one Now 16, counted for 5 children; he made messes and noise for 5 little regrets. And our Wonderful last one counts for 7 little ones. In 2 children her has enough trouble to count for a dozen children. He says that the youngest one broke me, she is now 10 and still a handful. So all together we have only 4 children that at times have counted for 12. Before my min-stroke I have an easier time, they though I was a Super MoM. My youngest claims that I still have Super Mom Powers, I broke when she was only 5. She doesn't really know what it is to have you mom chase you at the park, one that I was sitting in the sand. I miss being completely healthy; Both physically and mentally, though I am wiser. We do Love you very much, Your hyperness brings me 😂joy and memories of playing with my 3 older children. You can also have a small box/container to put in things that need to find a home. Once it's full or once a week or once a day, set a timer for 5 or 10 or 15 min and "blitz" the stuff where it needs to go....I just find this helps with "decision fatigue" and also means that you're organizing sessions can be super short, but sweet. Honestly, i have my donate and recycling boxes in my car, so i can empty most of the stuff from my little box AND it's already in the car...so, fewer steps too... Love your channel. 💖 from B.C.

I also like the idea of having a 'use it or lose it' bin!! It helps take away the guilt because I'm giving myself a chance to use it before discarding or donating something...

I once asked my 3 year old son when he went to the zoo ,with his uncle,if he enjoyed himself. He vehemently said NO! I was shocked. However my father laughed and asked him if he had a good time at the zoo. My son answered yes. He loved it! I learned then that with children, sometimes you have to change the words to ones they understand. It was a good lesson. Think about it. What did enjoyed mean? What did mom think he had done to himself? I have a million words to say the same thing depending on the age of the person I am speaking to. You have to be taught to be a teacher. You are lovely! Don't stop being you, not for anyone or anything. Also, I would like you to convey my gratitude to you husband for being there for you. You have a good one there!! Love you!

Cass, This video had an ad for Learn Do Become STEP program. Do you know anything positive or negative about this course? Is it worth $397 for Mastery and $197 for Self Study? I couldn't find any reviews online.

your system is form over function. example: I need tape in several areas in my house. I don't want to have to run to another part of the house to get tape because I've put all the tape together in the craft room. Your method will not STAY organized. Things will not get put back. YOUR SYSTEM WILL NOT WORK IN THE LONG HAUL
