This has been most informative. Exactly what I’ve been wanting to see……..what is involved physically, mentally, and I hope to see emotionally. How you handle when something goes wrong with customer quilts. Demonstration of resolving common issues. I’ve wanted a LA for years and years, but I’m 60 now. I ask myself if I have the mental fortitude and the health to follow through. I have 5 herniated discs and a host of other spinal developments. I’m not sure I can crawl under a LA to load quilts. I quilt my own lap and throw quilts on my domestic, just straight line stitching, no pushing and pulling quilt into patterns. Thank you for sharing.
Oh, you wouldn’t have to crawl under if you had the room to walk around the table. I’m just in a tighter spot. The other option would be to put a longarm on a shorter table. My prior longarm was on a 10 ft table and I could walk around to the back side. Even a 10ft will be able to handle most quilt sizes!
I’m really enjoying this series and learning a lot. But sometime could you do another part 3 with better sound? I can almost hear you about half of the time. Otherwise, this is a great teaching video. I wonder if I could ever learn all the computer settings that you have to make. Amazing!
