Green video couch. .it came in a time of need. Ive been watching your videos for a few years now. You've been saying all along problem...solution...benefits. I've tried several times several times to organize a speech but i always got lost. Because the field im moving into requires speaking to people. (Teaching). Today's video some how just clicked. I hope someday I will have an opportunity to meet you . I now feel like i can move forward. Thanks again coach 😊
Communication is my area of expertise and passion. That's why I make videos on it. I'm not chasing views for the sake of views. I'm thrilled with the growth and results my channel has earned. It's been life changing.
@@srinivas_xt I'm by no means upset, it was a genuine question haha. Your statement was confusing to me, as his whole channel is about "talk," meaning communication. Perhaps I didn't ask the right question.
I disagree with your distinction between informative and persuasive speaking, Alex. All business speaking is actually persuasive. If you do not establish WHY the information is important, necessary or game-changing, so-called “informative speaking” would be better as a document. No need for a human there.
When it comes to message design, it's not my personal distinction between the two that I'm talking about in the video. The difference in descriptions come from a long history in both communication and business. On a practical level, I have found that most professional speaking on a daily basis is informative. Things like status updates, orientations, trainings, workshops, etc. all use an informative message design.
