To be honest though, I only had two coffees the whole time. It was making me giggle while editing to make it look like I’d made another coffee every time I took a sip on camera.
Thanks! I think they were around 3.5-4mm deep and flat (but slightly rounded at the edges so as no not damage heads and straps). Hello back from #straya
Are the beds really necessary, i mean, i played some snares without beds. Seems something complicated that maybe doesn`t need to be made. What`s your opinion ?
You absolutely need snare beds. I guarantee you those snares you played had beds. Unless they had some kind of sled like dynasonic or something. They may have been very slight, but I can guarantee they were there.
I was trying to achieve getting some relevant and detailed information about a tom to snare conversion, which is why I was watching your video. I did not get the desired outcome. Which is why I left feedback. I believe that by receiving any kind of feedback you will be more able moving forward to serve your community of subscribers and the wider RU-vid community by implementing any said feedback as you are providing a service (we the viewers are the customers). To be fair though, I did exactly what the title said I’d do and showed every step of the way. It could not possibly have been more informative on the subject at hand. Just out of curiosity, in your expert opinion, on the subject of converting a tom to a snare drum, what was missing from this video?
@@MrBoydw I appreciate that, however, your negative comment with no constructive feedback whatsoever hardly achieved said stated goal. In this video I disassembled a tom, marked out the hardware locations for the new hardware, cut in the snare beds, drilled the holes for the hardware, reassembled the now snare drum, and then sent the viewer off to the customer’s channel where they could see the drum in action. These are actually all the steps involved in this conversion process. Again I must ask, what specifically were you expecting to see in a tom to snare conversion video other than the conversion of a tom to snare drum? If only in the interest of serving your stated goal of helping me serve the larger RU-vid community…
