I am getting tired of seeing my wrinkly, saggy neck just get worse and worse. In this video I show you my four-part, thirty day program to try to improve my neck. As I share in the video, I use several different products, but the cornerstone of my program are two City Beauty skin firming products. Hi Vicki. I am so glad you were having good results with my products that I recommend. By the way, the angel kiss derma rollers are real needles so you are just fine with that. The main problem I have when I recommend them under videos is that they sell out very quickly. You were just fine using that brand of derma roller. Take care and have a great Sunday!

You mentioned in another video having one eye more closed than the other. I have this problem an had upper blepharoplasty 15 yrs ago an had all the heavy lid removed, my lid covered even my eyeliner. Unfortunately it didn't change my eye being more closed. About a year ago I felt like it was getting worse an I had a cat scan for a deviated septum an I could visibly see one eye bigger than the other🤦 I saw an eye doctor an I thought one eye protruded more but he said the smaller eye is set in more, probably because the eyeball is actually smaller. Apparently most people aren't symmetrical an he said I can't change it. 🙄 Fortunately, its not noticeable to anyone else unless I point out. I guess I just have be happy I have eyes and can see. Its kind of like the old saying " A man complained about not having shoes till he saw the man with no feet" its all perspective!!

Hi Lori. Thank you so much for mentioning your experience with this. I have to admit that Dr Maloney said while he thought it could show a difference he was not totally sure as many of us are not symmetrical. Thank you for the great reminder of that. You were so right though. Mostly no one can tell either way. In fact, I could probably have had the eye surgery and not have told my viewers because the results will be very subtle. At least hopefully they will be. I did think it was important to share the info though so some viewers who are interested in perhaps getting their upper eyes done could see how it works. Thanks so much again for sharing your experience as I really appreciate it.

please consider watching Mira Aguirre of The Skincare Forum because you only needle down never up and down. and you should be using hyaluronic acid for slip. additionally granulomas can form with certain products directly after needling. most of us use copper peptides and epidermal growth serums immediate post needling.

Also the jade stone should be used going down as well. You want the fluids to be pushed to the lymph nodes, you don't want everything pushed to your jowls or under your chin. Ultimately we should start on the forehead an work down. We are so used to hearing to always massage up on our skin but some things are not meant to be done that way. With the roller are you saying roll up then lift off the skin an roll up again? In other words don't go up an down?

There is a Korean gal I follow for essences and kind of the K beauty stuff which is hydration and moisture philosophy Claudia Glows is. Good friend living in France she is all Skincare Kelley Driscoll American but similar to Sooo in Korea And I wish I could recall Jens channel Literally I follow probably 100 channels. I've had friends ask me to guide them on a routine as well as doing makeup for special occasions. I'm in the tax and valuation business so I desperately my creative outlet !!

Beth, Gin Amber always says to pick up the dermaroller at the end of each pass, do not go back and forth. The reason is that when you just roll right back up you are going into the exact same holes as before. When you lift the dermaroller and start from top again, the holes will be slightly different, and you'll get more coverage. Thanks for all the videos, can't wait for the results. Unfortunately I have a fragrance allergy, I tried it a couple years ago and my face was red swollen and itchy. I wish companies would stop putting fragrance in their products. Have a wonderful day.

Hi Anne. Gin Amber just sent me some derma rollers and I think they are very good. I am so glad you like yours. Yes, I am having a great weekend. We went over to my parents house for lunch. My parents are both in their late 80s and I noticed that the skin on their arms was just terrible! It made me recommitted to the idea of continuing my derma rolling to see if it can make a difference. In fact, after I answer the last few comments I’m going to use my 1.5 MM on my arms and legs. I have a dermaroller but it doesn't have the size on them and so I've been putting it off using it. Thanks for the video Beth. I love the shirt you're wearing!

Thank you so much Debbie. I get most of my clothes from Amazon. If I were you I might order a different derma roller as it is very important to know the size of the needle. Very shallow needles can be used once a week where is anything .5 MM or greater should only be used once a month. Personally, I would never use anything more than a .5 MM on my face and I really prefer a more shallow needle.

Hi Susan. Thank you so much for mentioning both of those products. No, I have never tried either one of them. I was just at my parents house this afternoon. They are both in their late 80s and their skin is terrible! It made me recommit to the idea of really working hard to try to find things to help her skin as we age. Then body scan it’s just awful because it makes us bruise just terribly and our skin can even rip.

Creams and serums may only add a temporary appearance of improvement. If you are serious about tightening the jowls and neck and not ready for surgery..Ultherapy laser can produce actual lasting results. I have personally had this performed on my neck and lower face and it does live up to the manufacturer’s claim. Yes it costs more than a few jars of cream, and it is not pain free, but few things that truly produce results are!

I am so happy you had great results with the Ultherapy. It’s funny that you mention that as I just went to realself.com to check that out. Unfortunately there are quite a few negative reviews about it to though in terms of fat loss. I decided against it because I wouldn’t want to be one of those unlucky ones but I am so happy it works for you. When it works well it really does produce positive results.

Hi again Beth , I have just recently joined your channel and love it !! I am 65 and live in England. I am having issues with the sagging face and deep wrinkles on either side of my mouth, I feel I need to pull all my face up and back😂😂😂 !!! I use creams and I have purchased the city beauty serum, however you did mention the Nuface and it’s , please could you advise, as surgery is out , and my daughter is getting married end of next month and, I am desperate to try and get a face again. Hi Gail. We are about the same age but it is so neat you live in England! I visited there with my husband when he worked there for about three months maybe 10 years ago. He was in London which is a lovely city. I feel your pain about sagging skin as it is something we all deal with. I really do like the Nuface. It is not dramatic but I think it does work. If you want something that will make a visible difference though you might try something temporary like face lifting tapes. I just did a video on my channel about a neck lift, an instant one which discusses those facelifting tapes. You might check that out. Quite honestly, the Nuface is good but it does not really give you a dramatic result. It’s probably more subtle than what you would hope for.

I've used Gin Amber derma rollers for past year and will never use another. She also shows you correct way to use and how often. I had just watched Kimberly video and she mentioned city sale. With using the Nuface and derma rolling....it's helping my neck. I've really wanted a better pillow but want to know if you sleep on side, does it stop sagging. If it does, I'll order today.

Hey Beth. I feel silly saying your "plastic surgeon is wrong" but there is a super effective non surgical neck lift as an option. Depending on the provider, it's either called a Thread Lift or a Silhouette Lift. Here in Canada, the neck thread lift only is around $500 and can last for two years. It not only lifts the skin but builds collagen too. Anyway good luck with the creams. Strivectin has a neck cream and a crepe cream too that has great reviews.

Hi again Angie. I think I just mentioned this in my last comment to you but to operator error I made a big mistake with the Derminator 2 and never really trusted it after that. Also, if you want a microneedle device, I recommend the Dr. Pen. I have that too. Is it less expensive and I think less dangerous. Less chance for error.

I was put off the Dr Pen as I saw a youtube vid done on banana skin and compared to the derminator it looked like it wouldnt be good on the skin due to tearing rather than puncturing. I understand that dermarollers also can tear the skin. I will read your other comment now and hopefully will understand why u stopped using it. You have had some very good results so I'm still weighing up my needling options xx

Yes, as long as you’re using a .25 or .3 MM derma roller you can pretty much use anything you can purchase in the drugstore on your skin. I

Beth, do you find that sleeping flat exacerbates under-eye bags? I always thought that sleeping elevated was better for fluid retention so I sleep on a pillow with a wedge. But, it's so uncomfortable! I'd love to try this pillow.

Hi Kelly. Yes, I find that back sleeping all together really does help decrease under eye bags. Also, sleeping on a wedge pillow is just wonderful too.

Have you considered Ultherapy or a laser to resurface your neck? I don't think creams really work, I'd save my money and get an inoffice procedure. I had Dr. Maloney give me a lower facelift when I was 65, I'll be 70 in a month and my neck is still firm as well as my jaw line. You are very trim Beth and don't look like you have a lot of extra skin...good for you! I like my Dr. Pen for derma rolling.

Hi Deborah. I also like the Dr. Pin for derma rolling and I actually created a video about that. In the video though I used a .5 MM cartridge and recently I have started thinking that I would rather go with a more shallow depth needle so I may not hear that video. I am so happy that Dr Maloney gave you such a wonderful lower facelift. I really feel like I will end up getting that from him as I’ve heard there’s really not much you can do for the neck otherwise. Thank you for the vote of confidence in him. I think he is just wonderful.

You are adorable! I will be 60 in Oct. I'm adorable genetically. People think I'm Young. I workout, I have been doing botox since my forties. However, I am beginning to see little area that I would like to work on. Neck for certain...I have honestly just been blessed. I didn't get married or have children. Perhaps that was the gift? I must add that older people (my age) think I'm young. Young folk (millennial's) know their own people. LOL. And know I'm not them. Additionally, thank God they made grey hair fashionable! 🤣

Thanks for your comments about my nail polish. It is actually black. I don’t know the brand because I just went to the salon and they gave me a black polish. You know, I think I am a more formal person. My husband got me a white smart watch for Christmas a couple of years ago and I just can’t bring myself to wear it. I think more sporty women could get away with it for sure. It certainly makes sense from a health standpoint. I actually think I’m a bit old fashion in that way though. I do tend to get stuck in my ways. All of the younger women in our family wear them for sure.

Hope you have used the disinfectant for your neck and the roller prior to using it!!! Otherwise you risk skin infection, especially if you will be re-using the same roller few times - it will keep residuals such as dead skin, traces of cosmetics and as a result there will be bacteria, but potentially also fungi growing. Also other watchers may try to copy the approach and this may lead to literal catastrophe! I know that in USA people tend to take things too literally, that is why you have signs such as "this bag is not a toy" 🙈

Yes you were so right. I probably should’ve mentioned that in the video. I always derma roll on clean skin and after derma rolling, I rinse off the derma roller and then spray it with alcohol and let it sit out to air dry before putting it away. Thank you for the great reminder to mention that.

You know, I did try that and really liked it for a couple of months. Unfortunately though it was pretty short-lived and I think it cost me about $600! Ouch! At that rate I could get a neck lift and not too many Botox sessions! Lol! You do bring up a great point though and I appreciate that.

I think with a shallow depth needle it is just fine to do that. It does not go down very deep at all. Also, please disregard the man who seem to be contacting you in the comment section. I think that is very inappropriate and I banned him from the channel. My apologies. He obviously thought you were cute and was looking for a date but that is not appropriate.

Hi, Beth! I already use the Multi-Sculpting cream from City Beauty and love it, but I will definitely order the Invisicrepe Body Balm. I ordered the Lolysenta Derma Roller some time back after you featured it in one of your videos. I have not used it yet because I am just a tad worried about using it. However, now I am more worried that maybe it isn't real individual needles. I went back and look at the Amazon page but was unable to find that information. You are so welcome! I don’t know if that is real needles. Usually you can tell because they will have a plastic barrel that you can see through and you can see that the needles go down into the barrel. The needles are separate from the colored plastic barrel.

Stop being obsessed by the mirror as the more we look the more we see problem let's not develop body dysphormia and try fix problem which were never there to begin with .trust me your neck is VERY good ! I am 48 and my neck is not better I think. I also see something going on with my eyes .but as you said its ageing ! .I am scared of dermarolling truly .I got myself the osmosis epic tool that's how close I can go to dermarolling I hate and have a genuine fear of needles

I am so with you and everything you shared. It is easy to look at ourselves a bit too closely and try to “fight “things that naturally occur as we age. It is a balance for sure. I also understand you dislike of needles. I just had blood drawn yesterday And remembered all the way back to being about four or five in my childhood and hating getting that shot in my butt! Lol! I would cry like crazy! Now I just squeeze my fingernails into my hand and get through it. Ouch!

Hi Beth. Thanks for the video. I've just ordered Angel Kiss as I'm not sure if the kit I ordered last week is needles or not! Anyway I too went to see surgeon about neck and he said it has to be done with facelift. He's apparently one of the top surgeons and I know people fly in from around the world to see him. You might be interested to check him out as he has lots of great information on his Instagram about different types of lift. He's called Dominic Bray and he's in England.

I would talk to another plastic surgeon. I'm pretty sure you can get a neck lift without getting an entire facelift. Some of these doctors just want more money 💵💵🤑🤑

So true! I actually question any doctor doing a upper blepharoplasty on her. She does not have hooded lids at all. In fact her lids are an example of what you want after surgery. You can see her entire lid! I had this surgery 15 yrs ago an loved it but my upper lids covered everything. My eye lids rested on my lashes an if I wore a lid shade an eyeliner you could not see them at all. My lids were full and heavy so the doctor removed the fat from my lid but she has nothing above her eyes. I don't want to discourage or be negative but going under anesthesia is always a risk and she may have no noticeable change or worse, her eyes could look to tightly pulled. I assume there may be things we don't see on camera.🙏

Hi Lori. I know what you mean about my upper eyelids. I had a few days when I decided to have the procedure in which one I was so marketly smaller than the other that I really wanted to get it done. I know my upper lids look pretty good. I really do trust my doctor though and believe he would not do this just for the money as he is booked up six months out. He really doesn’t even need more patients. Also, I would not do it if you put me under for it. He does most all of his procedures under a local only. Thank you for your comments though as I totally agree with you. I just have a great deal of faith in this doctor. I hope my faith is not misplaced. I don’t think it is.

I totally get where you were coming from on this. Dr Maloney says that while others may say they are just doing a neck lift, it is really a lower facelift they are doing. I do know that some doctors do say they do a neck lift. Dr Maloney is not really charging me much more than some of these other doctors are quoting for a neck lift.

@@FiftyPlusBeauty Wow he does it under a local? I have never heard of that before. Have u ever watched the surgery online? Sometimes it helps, although not always. I need a deviated septum surgery and watched it online😂 now I keep putting it off. It's supposed to be pretty painful. I don't remember much pain when I had upper and lower blepharoplasty but the swelling and bruising took about 4 weeks to heal enough that I felt I could leave the house with people thinking I got beat up😂 and no make up for a month. All that being said it was the best thing I ever did. It was nice being able to use eyeliner an lid color and not looking like I hadn't slept in a month. 😊
