Dr Chua is SO POSITIVE. Those with glaucoma/dry eye and now blepharitis are glad to see such a wonderful knowledgeable surgeon on RU-vid . Sometimes you have to laugh/do the hygiene/treatment and hang on.

Dr. Chua, your video is the first video I’ve seen mentioning of Xdemvy eye drops. My eye doctor just prescribed it for me after trying other products. Being disciplined or lack there of may be why they weren’t successful. Therefore , worsening into needing Xdemvy. I started the drops 3 days ago and needless to say … I want this party of mites gone. 1 drop 2x a day for 6 weeks should be a no brainer. I’ll let you know the final outcome. Good luck to the other sufferers. Hang tough. You’re not alone. 🙏🏻

If you are still struggling to control it please try using organic castor oil on your lashes morning and evening. Plus spraying colloidal silver whenever you get a flair up, this is a natural antibiotic. It doesn't cure it forever but easily keeps it under control so there is no longer a problem.

I am having the worst flareup ever it can be so painful. the skin under my eyes know where your bags are and the corner of my eyes are so tight and painful. It’s like the worst case of chap lips on your eyes and I don’t know how to get the skin around my eyes back to normal.

I tried the foaming cleansers and wipes but they did not work for me. I put some olive oil in a small bottle and added about 10 drops of Tea Tree oil (about 5 to 20% solution), then used q-tips to swab my lashes 3 times a day. Wiping off any extra liquid with an old t-shirt. After 4 days I had 100% clear eyes lashes and the itchy feeling was gone. The cost was very low, and it was totally effective. If you follow my example, you do so at your own risk. It worked for me. Results may vary.

I was contaminated at a sleep clinic, It took forever to see many doctors and finally diagnosed, FACE mites, they travel all over your body, inside your nose, mouth, eyes, feet, everywhere, cant see them, they bite. I use lintroller to stop itching and biting. After using everything, i was finally prescribed Enrithromicin on lids and lashes. You will also need taro-mometasone for face and body, epecially feet. It is an awful condition. Finally i was given a scalp treatment. I use a lint roller to go over my body for excessive itching. All of this a lot of help, I was told this condition is almost impossible to get rid of.

Dr. Chug, thank you very much for this informative video. Now I know how to go forward with treating my eyes. I’ve had this problem on and off for quite some time and all I’ve been told is to wash my eyes with baby shampoo. Never given a diagnose of the situation. Maybe when this condition started in my eyes, there wasn’t enough information out there on how to treat this condition. After viewing your video, I shall be going forward with the treatments you’re suggesting starting with the wipes twice a day to see if that helps me. Thank you again for this wonderful and informative video. ❤

Not sure what my eye problem is or how to help it I've been using eye drops and warm compress on it but it's temporary it all starts when I stare at screen for long time then I rest and wake up with it stinging specifically at the left corner of my left eye the most it rarely does it on the right eye and if it does it clears up fast but my left eye takes 3 to 4 days to clear up I went to doctor several times over this and all he did was give me steroid eye drops but the last time he just said use eye drops and warm compress and said he doesn't like giving out steroid eye drops multiple times

Excellent tips! Thanks!! I've basically been doing much of the right things - moist heat mask, tea tree oil, massaging with a gentle cream, all of which have helped. My eczema had flared up badly on my foot and leg (yes, just one) and I have thought that these two are pretty closely related, especially since they have both happened together in the past. You mentioned the mites, which I had also seen as a big possibility since I live with dogs and a lot of dust and dirt gets in to the house. I will definitely try the eye wipes now. (I'm 79 and was aghast at the percentage of mites in my age category!!). You have given me renewed hope!

Thanks. The question for me is not 'do I have this condition?' (my opthalmologist says I do, according to his written check up report) but rather 'which kind?', 'how important is this?' and 'is it worth treating?'

My flare ups used to be so painful and itchy. My eyes would swell up like if I had been punched. The flareups would usually last about a week and it was excruciating. The end result would be extremely dry skin around my eyes, think of a deflated balloon, and it was so embarrassing because I was still working at the time. The research I found on the subject all mentioned that I would need to get rid of any makeup and/or tools used when I had a flare up. That very quickly became very expensive. After a couple of years of flare ups and expensive makeup hauls, I learned what makeup to use and what to steer clear from. There are a few items that I try that I can immediately feel a flare up beginning, so I quickly cleanse my eyes and get rid of the product. It's been an adventure in dealing with this but glad that I have finally learned to control it and know how to manage it as well.

@@melsbimmerreally best not to use makeup at all. On eyes at least. I have the same issue. Your description of “deflated balloons” is exact! My eye lids swell, itch and when it finally improves … they do appear as wrinkly deflated balloons. And the wrinkles remain. My left eye is worse than the right with the wrinkling. It’s a real battle!

I use XDemvy but find that when I stop they come back… also, wash lids with foaming tea tree eyelid cleanser, tried Doxy… also temporary, feel like when it ends (which you eventually have to) your issues can come back. I have tried IPL and a few other things in office, bought a red light face mask, warm eye compress. Really have thrown everything and the kitchen sink at this issue. Hard to say which helps most as so many eye issues are intertwined in a way. I have used Ivermectin but have a question - You say to leave it on the eyelid for 15 minutes? How close to the lash line should we get and why can’t we leave it on for the day? Just curious.
