Note the missing step of "Start Sync" for the KEXT & OpenCore Version updates to be written before exiting that screen.

Thank you for your videos of processors and gpus supported by Hackintoh, they have been very helpful, however, you can support us by making a video of the supported motherboard chipsets. I would really appreciate it very much.

for anyone watching, know that you do not need to do this often and most of the times unless your updating to a newer macos version you will not even need to do this

So per se, its recommended to update kext and opencore before upgrading mac os version via system update am i right? What if installation failed or break, will it ruin my hackintosh inside, i.e i use catalina on my system, it says i can be updated to ventura,it won't break the system?

Yes, you should update OpenCore and your kexts to the latest versions before installing OS updates. MacOS updates don't touch your EFI partition, only the OS partition. It's still advisable to keep a copy of your EFI partition stored on an external drive just in case, especially if you're dual booting Windows, since Windows has a nasty habit of overwriting EFI partitions on NVMe drives it encounters during installation, even if you're installing Windows on a completely different drive. Keep time machine backups just as you would on a real Mac. If an OS update fails it should drop you back to the old OS. If you try to install macOS Ventura on a hackintosh using an SMBIOS that doesn't support Ventura it won't even try to install, you'll just see a message saying that Ventura isn't compatible with this Mac.

So I have installed Monterey from Olarila. I have added their EFI Desktop Rocket Lake. Installed it, but wifi/ethernet/bluetooth, doesn't work. Saw this video, thought I would try some of your suggestions. However, when I mount and open Config nothin shows up in the menu. Any ideas? I have an i9-1100k and Aorus z590 lga 1200 board if that helps at all

Did you install the appropriate kexts for your Wifi, Bluetooth and Ethernet cards? They won't work otherwise. Intel WiFi drivers - github.com/OpenIntelWireless/itlwm Broadcom Bluetooth - github.com/acidanthera/BrcmPatchRAM Intel Ethernet - github.com/acidanthera/IntelMausi/releases Realtek Gigabit Ethernet - github.com/Mieze/RTL8111_driver_for_OS_X/releases Realtek 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet - github.com/Mieze/LucyRTL8125Ethernet If you're using 11th gen CPU and a 500 series motherboard then you'll need a compatible AMD Polaris or Navi GPU as Intel 11th gen and newer integrated graphics aren't supported in macOS. You'll also need to use an appropriate SMBIOS of a real Mac with no iGPU like the 2017 iMac Pro or the 2019 Mac Pro.

@bartechtv I added in one of the Intel wifi drivers but no luck. I'll try adding in those. I have an AMD 6800XT. I looked everywhere for the other kexts you've linked but this is the first I've seen of those. Thanks for the help!

Hi, I’m having issues in knowing where to copy the necessary files so it boots up without USB! Any suggestions, please?

Mount both the EFI partition of your internal SSD, and the EFI partition of your USB drive, and then drag the EFI folder from your USB onto our SSD. then remove the USB drive and reboot.

So what happens if you update without this, and does this only apply to major updates?

is a video about adding a dedicated GPU to the hackintosh in the making?

A supported GPU should just work out of the box. Drivers are included in macOS Ventura for RX 470, RX 480, RX 560, RX 570, RX 580, Vega, 5700 / XT, 6600 / XT, 68800 / XT and certain 6900 XT. As long as you choose one of those GPU's, it should "just work" since they're supported natively.

Hi, I am running Ventura 13.1 and somehow 13.3.1 does not appear in the settings. It just tells me that my system is up to date. Any solutions? Thanks!
@BartechTV
@BartechTV Год назад
Check that you have SIP enabled (open terminal and type "csrutil status"). If it says "disabled" that'll be why you aren't getting the update notifications. You can either enable SIP in OpenCore or in Recovery mode and try again, or you can download 13.3.1 yourself by typing "softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version 13.3.1" (note that this will download the full installer, not just the update - Apple no longer offers the updates on their own for direct download).

Did you connect your monitor to pc via HDMI or else? This desktop has i3 but i3 processors doesn't support HDMI connection? Is there a possibility to enable HDMI suppor?

Core i3 does support HDMI. The Core I3-10105 supports HDMI output at up to 4K resolution.
