• How To Upload HD Video...
Alright guys so after assisting a few people who had problems with the upload I've learned that this only works if you are trying to make a video for Twitter where the original clip is higher than 40fps. If your video is originally at 30fps you do NOT have to go through these steps, just ensure that it is .mp4 format and under 30seconds and it should upload just fine. Again this video is only for people who wanted to upload clips to Twitter at 60fps and realized they couldn't (due to twitters frame/second restriction). Sorry for the inconvenience.
In this video I will be Showing you how to set your Sony Vegas properties the best possible way for uploading good clips to twitter. Hope you enjoy and if I left anything out please tell me.

No need to make any setup. Just render using SONY AVC/MVC MP4 option INTERNET 1280 X 720 30p Period. No need to adjust or fix nothing at ALL. I am using on my Tweet Account and works just fine. Try it

THANK YOU!! now that i think about it, i never thought or ever uploaded a video from my laptop let alone computer period lol. i usually upload straight after recording on my other devices. SOO glad at the time of rendering my original video i thought to put it in 60p, or else i would have been S.O.L. I actually needed this for a contest to upload on twitter, So thank YOU again!

Honestly, sometimes my browser just fails, so I try various ones like Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Opera. Each one will randomly fail, and each one will randomly succeed.

It may just be your connection at the moment. I went onto your twitter and saw the 6-second video (that I think you were talking about.) Keep in mind twitter is best optimized for mobile viewing so most people will see the video through a phone. It looks great on my phone and decent on a computer (as it should) Keep in mind it wont look as good as most videos on youtube because youtube uploads at 60fps and twitter only supports 30fps hope this helps :)

hi there, first, thank so much for a cool tutorial n i follow your tutorial but why twitter said "my file is too large n can't process" as you know twitter limit only 500 M. what can i do to fix it? I've googled for 2 months but Haven't found any solutions yet :(

Hi there! First I'd like to ask a few questions to make sure we are in the right track. 1) what is the frame rate of the video you are trying to upload to Twitter? (Right click it and click on the details tab then tell me the fps) 2) is the format of the video .mp4? 3) if the file is just to big try using handbreak to make it smaller, there are tons of tutorials on how to use handbreak

i downloaded the video parts from youtube and ifunny, and i edited them on sony vegas, now it is saved as mp4, and i doubt it's more than 30 fps, the video lasts 10 seconds but it still won't let me upload it

If the videos you put into sony vegas were lower than 60fps then these settings will render it into an .MP4 file that twitter won't process. I don't know how or why this happens but I do know you have to use different settings (maybe render the video at 30fps rather than 40?)

Hi Anthony, I have tried this a handful of times and have been unsuccessful in uploading. I keep getting "YOUR MEDIA FILE COULD NOT BE PROCESSED" when uploading to twitter. I am following exactly what you're doing.

Thank you for commenting, this makes the second person who is having difficulties so i will work on a fix ASAP there is a possibility that Twitter has changed their video dimension and if this is he case I'll recreate the video. Yes 720p 40fps is max, also you can't have it any longer than 1:40 min

+Mraviationguy sorry these steps only work if the original file is over 40fps :( If the video is at 25fps just make sure it's an .mp4 format and Twitter will upload it without a problem

+OMG is Animal alright when I get home I'll follow the video again to the T and make sure it still works, there's always the possibility that Twitter has updated their video dimensions and if this is the case,I'll create a whole new video with the proper dimensions.

If the render issue is from Sony Vegas then I'm not quite sure where to begin to check for the issue. Uselessly the issue is with the twitter processing steps, you're the fist with rendering problems.

Make sure you read the description, Make sure the original video file is 60fps, And if this doesn't work for you try the video tagged in the description.

Mind if I ask a few questions? Was the original file before Sony Vegas over 40fps (like 60)? Was the original file before Sony Vegas in MP4 format? And if not what format was it in?

Followed the steps indeed. One was 10 seconds, the other 19. I don't really get it. I can't seem to upload any type of video on twitter.

I feel you on that. It seems to work for many but a few people still cant manage the upload. I say make sure you read the description of this video and make sure all of that applies to you and if it does then Idk how else to help :/
