Hello...I'm from Bangladesh. I have some questions... I have dry sensitive not pigmented aging skin.(I'm 25 years old) Which cleanser will be helpful for my skin among them. Cetaphil gentle cleanser/ the ordinary squalance cleanser/ cosrx advanced snail mucin gel cleanser. For my whiteheads and uncloging pores which one should i use? The Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser and The Ordinary Squalane Cleanser would be great options. You could use both - the squalane for removing sunscreen or makeup, and the gentle skin cleanser for washing your face normally. Since you have sensitive skin, glycolic acid might be too harsh. Both of these options contain it and have a lower pH, but in your case, the Cosrx AHA BHA Clarifying Treatment may work. But i'm not certain, as it depends on your personal skin sensitivity. Yes, or you can use the serums first, followed by the Snail Essence, and then your moisturizer - if still needed. Some serums have a very similar texture to the Snail Essence, so you can use them in any order.

No, it's perfectly fine to use the essence instead of your moisturizer, or you can use one in the morning and the other in the evening - try both approaches and see which works best for you! 😊

If that routine works for you, yes. In the PM, I would just use Cleanser, Tretinoin and then a moisturizer instead.

What you're describing is just normal skin behavior. However, you already have the correct order of application. I still think the moisturizer is not needed, and the other products should do the job well. AM: Cleanser - Cerave (then pat dry) Apply Glow Recipe toner (wait 30-60 seconds) Apply The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid or Snail Mucin (wait 30-60 seconds) Sunscreen - (I like NIOD Survival 30, Good Molecules SPF 30, and COSRX Aloe Soothing Sun Cream) PM: Cleanser - Cerave (then pat dry) Apply The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid, or Snail Mucin That's it. :)

I would use it after the snail mucin if it is really a gel. But technically, you can use them in any order if they are both water-based.

Is this the only product you are using? But generally, if you are new to the product, especially snail mucin, your skin may react with breakouts and needs time to adjust. You can stop using the product for a couple of days and then start again. Giving your skin little breaks in between will help it adjust. If you still experience breakouts after a few weeks, it may be due to something else. In that case, you may need to discontinue using the product.

Do you have "The Ordinary" Niacinamide? In that case, it doesn't matter; you can apply them in any order.

Yes, exactly, and that is what I showed. Still, some fake doctors are showing people that wet skin is damp, and many influencers copied it. It is causing massive layering issues (depending on the products used), skin dryness/tightness, pilling, or even skin irritation. While you wash your face, the skin absorbs some water, making it damp. If you have water drops on the skin's surface, that is wet skin! I’ve been looking to add something like this essence would you recommend adding it, because I’ve heard a toner and essence works great together but I’m not too sure if that’s the case as I have not tried using essences. @@Razeryz Okay. By the time you're at the gym, your skin has already absorbed it, so it's not an issue anymore. You can do your regular AM routine at home. After the gym, I recommend immediately washing your face (or even taking a shower) to remove the sweat from the skin. Then, in the evening, you can do your evening routine just before bedtime. I mean, it wouldn't be wrong to apply the snail essence at the gym, but it's not necessarily needed. :)

Ah, here you are! 😅 Yes, in that case, you should avoid using the cleanser before the BHA. BHA stands for Salicylic Acid, and Glycolic Acid is an AHA. Even though it is in a very low strength, the 2% SA might still cause issues, especially if you're planning to use Paula's Choice 2% BHA. So, the best advice I can give you is to use CeraVe Foaming Cleanser, Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser, or The Ordinary Glucoside Foaming Cleanser before using the BHA or any other gentle foaming cleanser! However, you might not need to use the other cleanser anymore, as it could lead to over-exfoliation over time. Alternatively, you can alternate it with the BHA so that you can use it all up. 🙃
