On special for $149aud, i grabbed it yesterday and couldn't be happier. Practicing of a night while my wife sleeps and laying down tracks etc is soooo much simpler now and it sounds effing amazing. I had Amplitube already but I didn't get along with that for one reason or another, but this thing rocks.
A draggable LFO. Simply amazing then anything can be dynamic and automated without moving dials or pedals. Please put these LFos everywhere in all of Kontakt series.
Got Rig Pro 6 with the Standard bundle on sale but when I saw the Rig 7 vids I paid the upgrade, this thing is amazing and yes, for all instruments and some of the functionality is really handy beyond just guitars....very cool.....I hope the sun doesn't explode too soon....
Thanks Sam. Loved this kind of micro level explanation ... very very useful for newcomers like me. I have the free version of Guitar rig 7 offered by NI...I couldn't obviously match with presets showed by you...I believe some of these aren't available in the free version. It's alright. But this video is certainly useful to know the UI components and controls. I am not going to skip any chapter and shall be watching it fully the way you have built it. Done with first 15 minutes now... Just taking a break ... shall complete at my own sweet time. Thanks a lot again from Pune city, INDIA.
I've been using GR5 since it's release many years ago and find that this newer version is even less user friendly managing custom presets. Thanks for your efforts!
Love GR7 Pro. Just wish we still had the MIDI Options for mapping parameters directly to MIDI instead of having to use either Macros or the Container, and that the entire range of models get the ICM treatment.
think they missed a crucial improvement, having separate macros for the global area, would have made it great to lock in common control across presets. It would be great if they were saved with the global save menu. Great job.
It would be handy if we could actually add custom tags to presets rather than just colors. Im not very color oriented, so its very easy for me to forget what colors ive internally assigned to the different custom presets ive set up
Klasse Tutorial, habe mir nur die Midi-Zuweisungen angesehen, weil das für mich die offene Frage war. Jetzt weiß ich, daß man auch einen normalen Foot Controller anzuschließen kann….
Think i am going to upgrade to Guitar Rig 7 Pro!!!!! Looks awesome! I have a question though? If I was using GR7PRO in STANDALONE MODE, and using the Loop Machine Pro and i had recorded a lot of things into it, is it possible for what i had recorded into the Loop Machine Pro to then be exported in some way into my DAW? Thank you!
This is super-helpful! One question: at 1:02 you talk about MIDI control. You're using GR7P in stand-alone mode, right? As far as I can tell, MIDI control is *not* available in the plug-in (within Logic Pro X). (The manual says this, I think, on p. 79: "The MIDI inputs are only available in the Guitar Rig stand-alone application.") I'd love to be able to use my expression pedal to control individual "knobs" in GR7P, but (so far) can only get it working in the stand-alone app, which I don't use. Any suggestions?
I open GR7 tested Diff Presets . 😱woooow amazing No Buzzing noise👌👍.. I open Amplitube 5 to compare some Of their Presets...🥴🫣 Making Noise ???? So it cant Be My Guitar Cable Or focusrite Settings connections...
Hey Can you show how to assing/conect a jack plug foot pedal to the Loop Machine Pro. I can't find it in the pdf manual. Thanks for your video really good that's the reason I chose to buy Guitar rig 7 pro. Hope you can help here. Many greetings from here Johnny. from Denmark
Hello NI , will there be a prefered input level for guitar rig 7 ? Some of the sounds I find it a bit flat on the transient, I am using an apollo uad twin and I've tried pushing the preamp and without, somehow its abit flat on the transient. Thank you
here guitar play so nice, like electric guitar should. When I connect my there lots of hum, and sound of combinations doesn't sounds different between themself.
Hey, sorry to hear there are problems with Guitar Rig! Please reach out to our dedicated support so we can have a closer look together. You can contact us through the form over here 👉 bit.ly/n1gifx
How do you deal with cpu usage? I do have a recent MacBook pro. Nevertheless, when I start it, the fan start running non-stop. If on the battery, it drains it within 30 minutes, so I have to be plug all the time. It is the best simulator out there, but the very high cpu usage is a drawback.
Hi! Can you please try following the steps in this article to optimize Guitar Rig's performance? bit.ly/3Pa4cvx If the problem persists, feel free to get in touch with our support team directly and we'll be happy to help.
I have no idea why they eliminated the Rig Kontroller support, that makes zero sense. Also with the new interface I can set up a group of presets, so when playing live, it makes it much easier to switch. It's almost like they only want this used in the studio.
I'd look for External Device templates in your DAW. Any Midi pedals should work. I know Studio One DAW only and I have some videos showing controlling presets on my channel page on a link if your interested.
Hi All! I would like to know, which footpedal is works with rig6? I like switch clean to overdrive or turn on/off effects, etc. I’ve macOS Thanks for helps!
Of course you can use Guitar Rig 7 Pro live on stage. ✌️ We've got many discussions on this topic in the online community. Feel free to join the conversation here: bit.ly/ni-community
@@NativeInstruments I think a lot of users would like an update for the Rig Kontrol 3 to use Guitar Rig 6 and 7 live. Rig Kontrol 3 is a great tool for live situations. Or a RIG Kontrol 4 for example would be a good idea for Guitar Rig 6 and 7 live users. I think it's would be a positive thing for NI and a good point for the company in terms of consistency towards his production. Disclaimer : I don't own any interest by NI! 😊 I'm just a user trying to bring positive sugestions. Cheers!
That's a super easy workaround if you have a daw. Just open the daw and load up GR and whatever else you want to go before or after it. Gives you a lot more flexibility too on routing, tracks and mixing...and even saving "presets" (essentially) by saving it as a daw program. Plenty of free to download daws out there if you don't have one.
@Evilroco actually not sure. I have both LE and pro but never tried opening LE. I'll have to check. I figured you were saying it didn't work standalone
@@EricJohnson-fh8zj Unfortunately not you cannot select a different output device to the input device ,it always defaults o the same even when using a universal driver for all sound devices. Guess I'll stick with mikes to cab and my Roland vs 880 ,it's worked for 3 decades. Thnx again for the info.
Can someone help me? i upgraded from 5 to Guitar Rig 7 pro and it just completely freezes ableton and the ui even tho the track will still play i just cant click anything and have to force close everything? is this a known issue or something wrong with just me
I have a thing called a ur22 steinberg interface. I plug the guitar into that and then a lead out of that into my computer’s usb port. It’s an old interface, maybe 8 or 10 years, but works perfectly.
The inability to have loops change volume a set amount per loop as well as saturation increase per loop (plus a hard limiter if volume is increasing instead of decreasing) makes the looper not really that great unfortunately.
@@klstay If you are using logic then you can program all of those things within logic. I expect that's true of most decent daws. If you want a looper for live then this isn't really the looper you want anyway. I haven't checked the veracity of your claims but if this were true in logic I'd just write scripts in the channels to get the effect I wanted.
@@mobsiesixsixsix9785 my only point was volume and saturation gain/loss per pass on a play head is high up on the feature list for a lot of folks. If writing scripts for that instead is preferred by some then good for them - different strokes...
This doesn't work. You are showing guitar rig already with On button (left top corner). For me it is always off and I cannot turn it on. I clicked the button, but nothing happens.
First thing I look at with a teacher: 1. How small or large is the cursor the teacher chooses 2. If it's a small cursor, the teacher has to make small circles pointing out something 3. Then my EYEBALLs have to follow that small cursor AND I HATE IT I will not be watching this tutorial
@@NativeInstruments As you guys have mentioned. But Image Line products are not limited, and are completely safe from piracy. I can install any image line product on as many computers as I want. So that excuse is just laughable. But NI the market will decide, and I can already tell you guys have been struggling.
