I used my last sheet mask in Japan about four years ago. 🤪 But I already got some requests for this, and I will also look into it, but it isn't my priority yet 😉 Do you use one? If so, can you recommend me some?
Hey melissa plz help? I need to knw i have extremely dry and sensitive skin eczema prone and i use sloe calming cleanser frm body shop which suit me but i need to knwest is better for me cotton pads the makeup towel
Overall, if your skin is very sensitive, I would recommend using cotton pads, as washcloths can sometimes be too harsh, especially if you can't get the kind I demonstrated. If you do find them, then you can use those, but still make sure they are very soft. :)
Hello, Melissa. I hope you are doing great. I've watched your videos about The Ordinary products and tried Niacinamide and Azelaic Acid. So far, it has helped to get me away from pimples. My problems now are blackheads, acne scars, and some skin-colored bumps on my chin (no idea what those are). I have an oily to combination skin. Can you suggest an Ordinary product that I should add? (I peel once a week using The Ordinary AHA) Thank you in advance for replying. God bless you!
Hey! :) Are those only dark spots or physical scars? As for blackheads, you can try their normal Salicylic Acid Solution and use it when not using the Peeling Solution. However, depending on how deep they are into the skin, you may need to extract them with a tool. The Salicylic Acid Solution is an exfoliant so, it could help for those bumps as well but if there are too many dead skin cells build up. It's probably best to get them removed.
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet Thank you so much for the reply! I think they are physical scars like some became holes and others are bumps already on the nose. I'll try Salicylic Acid Solution for the blackheads and bumps. Thank you so much! God bless and keep safe. PS. Is The Ordinary Salicylic Acid Solution different from the Salicylic Acid 2% Anhydrous Solution?
@@ferjenni21 So, for physical scars, I recommend seeing a doctor. The Ordinary SA Anhydrous Solution is a gentler formulation and more suitable if you have dry skin. The other one is a water-based serum and feels best if you have normal to oily skin and it absorbs much better.
Yes, you can wash off cleansing milk or lotion with water instead of using a cotton pad. While cotton pads are commonly used to remove cleansing milk, they are not the only method. Gently massage the product into your skin and then rinse it off thoroughly with water. This should effectively remove the product and any impurities from your face.
Hello Melissa! I was just wondering if I could have some advice I have combination to oily skin, If my skincare routine consisted of: AM: The Inkey List Salicylic Acid Cleanser The Inkey List PHA Toner COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All in One Cream Sunscreen PM: The Inkey List Salicylic Acid Cleanser COSRX Advanced Snail 92 All in One Cream Sunscreen is there a certain cleanser I should be using in the evening/morning instead of the Salicylic Acid cleanser as I don't know if I should use it 2 times a day? and if so what could I use instead. and with the toner, should I be using that in the evening instead? any other advice would be great! just mainly need some help with some cleanser options thank you!
Hey! :) For how long have you been doing this routine? I recommend using a gentle cleanser when using the PHA Toner since it is an exfoliant. Also, you do not need to use sunscreen in the evening. Just use it during the day. In the evening, you can use a moisturiser without SPF or none at all because the Snail Essence is already hydrating. AM: - Salicylic Acid Cleanser - Snail Essence - SPF PM: - Gentle Cleanser - PHA Toner (start with 2-3 times per week and adjust the frequency overtime) - Snail Essence - (Optional) Moisturizer Gentle Cleanser options: CeraVe Foaming Cleanser, Cetaphil Daily Facial or Foaming Cleanser, Neutrogena Hydro Boost, Paula's Choice, etc,...
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet Thank you very much! Didn't mean to put the sunscreen in the evening haha. How would this routine work with oily skin? CeraVe foaming cleanser Cosrx AHA / BHA toner Snail 92 all in one moisturizer Sunscreen CeraVe foaming cleanser Snail 92 Sunscreen If I were to use the blackhead power liquid from cosrx alongside this routine, when and how often should I use it? And should I be using the toner in the morning or evening? Thank you!!
@@kitcaradine1012 Salicylic Acid is usually recommended for blackheads. However, if they are too deep into the pores, it's best to extract them with a tool. Have a look at this playlist: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RZIeLOliyuo.html
I recommend using a gel or foaming cleanser, like; CeraVe Foaming Cleanser, Cetaphil Oily or Daily Facial Cleanser, Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel, or even Simple's Gel Face Wash)...something like that. If you want to remove makeup, maybe sunscreen as well; you can do this with makeup-washcloths, micellar water or a balm cleanser :)
@@foxyking35 There is no other that I am aware of that has any "research" I mean, none of them really has, but they are probably the ones that someone has already looked into. Maybe Tranexamic Acid.
@@MelissaVanDijkTheSkinDiet Don't use any other lotion, just this one I mean, I depend on it? I ask like this because I was surprised because I didn't find foam I used it with water!
This is a non-foaming cleansing lotion. Therefore it doesn't foam. If you want a cleanser that foams, you would need to look into Foaming or Gel Cleansers like CeraVe Foaming Cleanser or Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser..or Neutrogena has some great ones as well! :)
