Silly question if I want it off do I turn the dial down to the lowest and then when I want it on I turn the dial up?

You can do that but it would only turn it off for that time block,if you are looking to turn it off for a longer period I would suggest going into the menu ,selecting heat and then scrolling a to off-then repeating to to turn back on or to timed(that’s at the thermostat-easier on the app)hope that helps

I have installed Hive trvs on all but the bypass radiator which is in the bathroom. What do I need to set my hive thermostat temperature to now and where should I put it? I can’t figure out how the thermostat interacts with the trvs

Hi, hope you are sorted out now but just for reference if you download the Hive app to your phone you should be able to log in to your account and it will save your data for ease.
