Another lifeguard there asked what happens if he saves someone's life, and then that night, they drink too much and get behind the wheel of a car and kill someone? Have I saved a life or taken one? They said that's a very profound question. You're going to work in the deep end.

Vacations can be really great, but there’s so many things I hate about staying at hotels; for instance I wish pools didn’t have a shallow end….If there was only a deep end, a lot more kids would drown, and that’s always nice.
