Is the positioning statement different than the mission statement? Could you maybe give an example of a mission statement and a positioning statement? I'm a bit lost. Otherwise - amazing, amazing content!!!

Mission statement is your company's purpose. Like Tesla's: "To accelerate sustainable transport with electric cars." Positioning statement is how you stand out. Like: "For eco-conscious drivers, Tesla is the top choice for high-performance electric cars." Hope that helps!

Hello Dear, thank you so much for your videos so helpful, I'm confused about something and my question is should the Purpose+Mission+Vision Statements be influenced by the positioning statement, What should I create first? My Opinion I should do market research and find gaps and opportunities And consumers' pain points or something the existing brands don't offer then fill it! For Example, Before RedBull There were no energy drinks so they position a place in the consumer's mind first then created the Purpose+Mission+Vision Statements, Which means They position themselves first, so what is your opinion, Thank You so much really appreciate it!

"You should know whom you want to serve before creating these statements so you can be connected to your ""Why"". Do the internal statements first, then positioning... then revise your internal statements considering your position to see if it needs alteration"
