I prayed for a mentor and the Lord blessed me with an amazing woman who has had the same struggles as I have and has a VERY similar personality. She has helped me walk through life, decision making, etc.

I was so blessed through my teens and 20's to have many Godly women to mentor and help lead me in the right direction and in my early 30's I still have that now.

I personally think having a Godly Mentor is amazing! It’s so nice to be able to pick someone’s brain who has been in your situation before. I also think something that is wise is not just meeting with a mentor but really listening to a mentor! Really trying to put into practice what their telling you. Thank you for this talk ladies! I didn’t really begin to follow Jesus until mid life. I am so grateful God led me to a good church where I met mature Christian women to mentor me and hold me accountable for change. It’s now my priority to do the same because there’s nothing like a life aligned with Christ.

I was lucky enough to have a older mentor at my church, she left now but she helped me get through so much and guide me through so many difficult situations. Her name was Chloe. I’m so grateful for her.

I got back home a couple of days ago after 1.5 amazing years in mission with spiritual cover and mentors etc. So I was just praying last night about who I should ask to be my mentor now I'm home and I take this video as a confirmation that I should just ask one of the women I'm thinking about and see what her response is! Ever since I read the post about seeking a mentor.... I knew it was time for me to do so. I stepped out in faith, prayed about it and sure enough the lady I had in my heart said yes! We are starting soon so I am super excited for that! Thank you Kristen and Bethany for always being such a wonderful inspiration!

Older women helping/teaching/guiding younger women and girls is such a beautiful provision and can make ALL the difference in a young girls life. Man, if more girls had someone even a few years older to mentor them it would cut down on so many problems and unnecessary struggles.

Learning from older women is an important part of many cultures, and I think in our western culture we have lost some of that, and maybe only have mentors who are older women in our family. It's awesome to learn from older women in our communities, and something that we should all do more often.

Is it discipleship the same as mentorship? I recently got asked by an older woman to mentor me, and days after, another woman also offered to disciple me, I'm a little bit confused if I have to choose one of them or if I need them both; I attend the small group of the second woman, but I don't know what is the right thing to do or what to say and how... Please help me :)

I have 3 different mentors/disciplers. They all have different perspectives on things and have there strenghts in areas they are better at helping with.

I wholeheartedly agree. I have a female mentor who helps me navigate my career, I have also had other mentors both male and female who have explained to me how to invest my money. Find the people that have the results you are looking for, and follow their advice! Results speak for themselves! 😊
