Unfortunately a lot of people are in a bubble here and don't really have a lot of interaction with people outside of the us. I live d in California and Florida. I was lucky enough to be exposed to numerous different people with different accents and I can detect correct ly but if you are from small town America you really don't have much of an ear

We had a cat that wad so angry we ignored him and then a friend came to visit and he was nice to the cat and the cat actually was responding and our friend said " well everyone likes affection" just like this lady

You are right. He asked too many uncomfortable, private questions almost right from the beginning and she had the need to tell him about cost of care and justyfying on some things. I mean she luckily didn't send any money but could have ended it after the first 5 questions. My opinion.

@@rashikagovindasamy8258 I know. My mother’s elderly neighbor went to her grave believing her romance scammer. She wouldn’t listen to family or friends and instead believed everything he told her. She lost her life savings and her home. What was even more sad I think was that she thought he was coming to marry her. He promised on multiple occasions to come to her. She would go get her hair fixed, get dressed up and wait all day. He never came of course and every time her heart would be broken and she would become depressed until he pumped her up again with his lies and fake promises. Went on for 4 years! She even quit buying her medicines so she could send him the money. That’s why she died. She had a stroke.

The minute he Asked me how much I made, my credit card information or for money he would’ve been blocked immediately. No confrontation required

Probably both. He will start out with A. the going ballistic one. Then move onto B. and start apologizing, confess, and say he has really fallen in love with her, but he needs money to be able to make it to the US. Then the attempts at scamming will start up again.

The guy said he hated doing it but was desperate for money and it was the only job he could find. Many are ruthless assholes but some are also just desperate kids trying to get by. Sad either way.
