This is by far the best piece of advice I've ever gotten from a video, and watched hundreds of them over the years. Like, hands down. You've thrown the ball out of the park here. Simple, straightforward and clear. Grande, Sam Ovens!
Sam Ovens is a genius. I learn so much from him that I ended up becoming a consultant by accident. Just these videos put me ahead enough to make money without looking for it.
I did it Sam, I’ve deleted everything off my phone and now goodbye RU-vid. I’m focusing 100% on my Business! No more distractions... Thanks brother from another mother!!!
Wow that’s a good point. Solve the issues in your life first that you are slack on and that will help you be successful in business. Don’t start right at your business trying to fix issue with it start in other parts of your life first. Thanks guys.
This concept might have merit, but it's gonna take some serious analysis to make a determination of the corrolary between all actions. Skipping songs on the radio could be "refusing to finish", or it could be "follow the mood", or it could be "seeking novelty", or it could be "fear of missing out", or it could be ... You need more than one action to explain a life, but more data points in a life can explain an action.
Thank you so much for these videos. I downloaded them all in case they get deleted. Everytime I go back to my old routines I just play your stuff and im back on the track. This is a life changing channel. No bullshit.
I was an organized ,had everything for any scenario, 24 years of constantly having to do everything or replan because my time isn’t as valuable as theirs..I’m now..now..a song flipper. Constant doing others work will change a person.lessons learned for sure
Brilliant Sam! So clear advice on distraction and focus! And I'm an ADD person so, you're advice, it's kind of embarassing but honestly it's true. I've just removed all social apps from my phone while watching! And I'm an opener, so I need to finish more things definitely! WoW! I’ve finished this episode and I use that creative approach very often! But the Ernest Hemmingway story where you switch modes to be committed to write is great. Definitely agree with that.
Ok…so this quote is geared more so to a business model and how to maintain success through leaning how to best optimize your time in anything you decide to do.
I don’t get it ,why is everyone giving this guy shit I think he drops golden nuggets from what I’ve seen, but people call him a fraud can anyone please explain where the negativity towards Sam comes from... 🤷🏾♂️
Sam I wonder when do you go to bed to get your 8 hours sleep when you get up at 4? In another video you mentioned you wake up at 7am - which is a way human time of the day, haha. :D
Good interviewer but could push harder against Sam speaking, at times, in black or white absolute language, i.e, Never, always, not possible, etc. Different things work for different people. I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure many wealthy and successful people have fucked up personal lives. Many people focus on being great and go all in on one thing, so other things in life don't get much attention, because there isn't much attention left to give.
The overall logic makes sense but song example is not great at all.. You may not like a song and skip it or another one and that would not tell whether a person is a completer-finisher - it would be a waste of time to keep playing a song you do not enjoy...
