What version of their cable did you buy? I have the same nibbi cable I believe 46in and I think it’s too long. I saw they sell like a 36in one. Is that this one? Out of no where when I giving throttle the bike will die. Thinking the cable is too long? With the stock cable set up there was zero issues. But the stock cable isn’t long enough for the Nibbi throttle tube.
@anglegrinder4630 the throttle cable is what's pulling the slide up. The spring is what's bringing the slide back down. If you let go of the twist throttle fast, it makes a snap cause basically the metal slide is "sliding" down fast. Makes sense?
Hey, I put on a new throttle cable and bike wont start. I remember there being a clear plastic piece covering the cable on the carburetor end. Do u think that's the problem?
@@mikeanthony8934 you might have a cable that's too long? You may need to see if you have to raise the throttle enough to get the slide to suck in more air. Other than that, Idk what to tell you. Could be an idle adjustment? Wish I was there
Oh shoot that sucks.i would try to get in contact with nibbi and ask if you can purchase that part. I do now know of a universal replacement or part readily available off the top of my head.
@fernandomartinez-oh7sj I'm sure it may work without it, but it won't be optimal. The spring load mechanism will still move the slide but may come out of wack or less too much or too little fuel in. Only way to know is to try. I would say try to find a replacement. I will look into this
