Yes you can print. You can even print borderless photos. The photos in the video have borders, but there is an option to print them borderless too. Photos come out great, but they are very slow and expensive. Good for ocassional use, but it is cheaper to get them printed in a studio if you have a time or a lot to print.

Not at all. Dark room is not required for inkjet printers. Infact not required for any modern day photo printing. Even photo printers in studios do not use dark rooms. Dark rooms are required to develop film rolls which should not be exposed to light. With digital cameras you no more need the dark rooms.

+Saurabh Chaudhary I was using gocolor 185 gsm in the video, bought from amzn. Worked with kodak too.

+VISHKI Clean the rollers too. May be an issue due to accumulated dust.

Thanks dear.. Eng himself cleaned rollers but not worked... Then i paste a normal paper on back of 4x6 photo paper and it worked.. I think i have to use more gsm or a slightly rough paper from back.. Anyways thanks for ur kind support,... :)

I am using Kodak 180 gsm 4*6 photo paper... But it's jamming where it takes turn near big rollers... Only once it went beyond that roller but then jammed below cartridges.. Printer working good on A4 paper 210 gsm, 180 gsm, etc.. But 4*6 :(.. Any help ?

+Saurabh Chaudhary Try cleaning all the rollers, I think how to clean rollers is mentioned in the user guide. You may also find hp videos online for cleaning. That should mostly solve the issue.

+VISHKI Also the inner part(do not know what it is called- which we remove to take out the jammed paper) should be seated properly.

Thats the pain of photo printing. These are only for emergencies. Gettings pictures printed in a studio works out much much cheaper.

No idea. It it happening only for photo prints? did you try the same print on a different paper? If you are using after market ink refills, that also may be an issue.

@@VISHKI I used a genuine HP cartridge. It doesn't happen for normal A4 paper prints. Also, the photo print was a bit cross. May I know what photo paper you used so I could it next time?

Photo printing uses up a lot of ink, so I think cartridge will be empty after printing a few photos. Photo printing will be multiple times costlier than getting the photos printed in a studio. You may refill the cartridges and use, but thats a mess and may not always work well. Epson has inktank printers, they may proove to be much economical if it is just photo printing. Those printers have provision for ink refilling. A couple of photos a month may be ok, but if you have to print a lot of photos I doubt the longevity. May be too much of a strain for this home printer. And it is boringly slow.

Hi, That's the transfer paper for fabrics right? I haven't used them but as far as I know the transfer papers work with any inkjet printer, no specific requirement. So as long as you have the A4 or other supported sizes, it should work.
