No word can describe, hats down to you guys .. What a shame .. a legendary brand brand like this has to go :( .. Really sad and heart breaking .. One day i will get my hand on one of those, hopefully HSV .. You will surely be missed :(
Jeez im upset we arn't going to have anymore of these absolute weapons in future. Show me anyone who will say "No, i dont want a fast, powerful australian v8, id rather buy something slow with four cylinders thats been imported".
These would sell very well in the states. We got the Pontiac G8, I just sold mine for a ZL1 Camaro, but I looked at a Chevy SS. But damn if one of these were an option. I would have been all over it.
What a weapon the W1 is... Ford gave you XR8 SPRINT 😝. HSV gives us these beasts...what a difference. I can't believe we aren't going to be able to buy one from October this year.. at least I have my VF SSV REDLINE Walkinshaw W375 that I will supercharge to 500kw and that I'm keeping for good.. HSV are not dead just not working on this platform (V8 rear drive) but maybe a Camero may be a future prospect... still not the same.. fairwell the real aussie Commodore 🙁
My co worker has a Ve hsv clubsport twin turbo 1000hp . The potential there's cars can generate in power . His next upgrade 427 with twin turbos 1000hp +
Ben Chesterman a VX and VY GTR is completely different. VE GTRs however are plentiful and cheap, this will be no different aside from the top spec model that will be built in limited numbers.
eu acelerando o carro minha mae: menino que velocidade e essa junior para esse carro eu: nah o cara que ouviu: que susto desse carro do capeta o carro: 😈 meu pai: carro bonito meu filho
The front guard on the w1 does not look like it fits properly against the front door (pause at 1:00) It looks like someone has tried to graft the front end of a different car. It even looks like its a different shade of color. While I do love most of the car if your charging $170k it shouldn't look like it has had a rushed cut and shut. Seriously WTF
Dave r you do understand that its a end of production Holden what do you think Holden and Hsv more concerned about...a front guard or keeping to there order book. But yes 170000 is a bit steep.
It's such a shame GM has screwed you guys the way it has. The 2017 Commodore just isn't a Commodore at all. No V8, no RWD and no soul. What are you guys going to sell now, Corvettes or Camaros??? You can't go anywhere near those poxy FWD POS's Holden are selling next year without destroying your heritage and image. GM and Holden, you've lost a life long customer/fan right here- and I'm sure tens of thousands just like me. Big round of applause for both of you
+freddienz68 Yeah, not now they aren't going to make them anymore. They are great fun to drive, I don't think we'll see anything like them in this country again. Not for the price they were sold for anyway
Daniel Brealey you can h8 me after. first of all I'm a Ford also love the Holden. but this is fucked why are we losing this legend. fuck I know a lot of people back home in Africa who would want one, hell even them Americans would appreciate this aussie legend
Cool cars but I don't think that they're really worthy of the GTSR nameplate. There was never a GTSR ute, none of these cars are XU-3 Yellah (I hope some people have ordered them in that colour) and there's no big ridiculous (but awesome) wing. Cool, yes. GTSR, no.
I wouldn't call it the fastest ever Australian built car. Holden/Hsv have focused so much on producing "Australia's fastest car" before they close down, that they've forgotten the whole point... keeping it "Australian", they've fitted it with a Corvette engine that's not "Australian" built. Holden/Hsv have in a way, cheated by using this engine. An engine is the core of any car out there. And here they are using an engine that's not even Aussie made at all in there final Hsv. Ford Australia could've easily done the same thing with their last falcon Sprints and their last Fpv's but stayed a Real Australian Motor company by engineering and building there own engine from scratch. And they did a mighty good job
