he can definitely be loud, but loudness isnt an element of someone's personality, yaknow? like even if he was always talking in his "welcome to syndrome with the allies" voice, itd still be huber and itd still be awesome
It's what makes him so fun to watch. There's so many people in the game coverage industry that focus too much on the doom and gloom side of thing it's such a bummer.
You're a brave man, Huber. You're not afraid to show your passion for what interests you, but you don't sit in judgement of people for not sharing 100% of your preferences. I'm genuinely in awe of your seemingly limitless repository of optimism and good vibes when we're constantly bombarded with cynicism. There's always room for positive and negative opinions, but there's a major deficit on (authentic) eagerness, which is what makes you such a rarity. Sorry for the saccharine comment, really just wanted to say thanks for the positive vibes, and looking forward to the Huber Game Show :)
this was so so excellent and enlightening. kyle’s an incredible interviewer and huber had some truly inspiring stuff to say about being a positive face online.
Slow Clap into full round of applause on this one. This is probably in the top 10 pieces of media they have ever made. I gave up an amazing dead cell's run just so i can focus on this. Kyle's interview skills are almost scary and there is just so much more Huber behind all the hype that we don't get to see nearly as often as I would like. 10/10
Great episode and great series. Kyle is great pick for interviewing Huber. He can dig and pull out those nuggets. I would like to see it come back next year. This seems like a great Summer time sub series when the gaming happenings are more spaced out as things are waiting to ramp up for the fall game blitz
This is so deep with Kyle sayin' that Huber is letting the words reflect back on himself, I almost cried. I've struggled with this too, its so hard to break out of how people define you and then people say it so much you define yourself that way. This is why I love you guys. Yall talk about games but yall aren't afraid to share these deep private parts of yourselves with us. Thanks and Love & Respect :)
Love this episode! I really dig Kyle's more "prying" questions (would love to see more of that!) Amazing job, Huber! Loved this series of interviews. Can't wait to read that wiki snippet of you guys!
After watching this a second time, I've concluded that Kyle's future is absolutely as a talkshow host. As soon as we get Huber rocking his game show, we can focus on The Nightly Bosman.
This was such an insight, this whole sub series really has been. Huber's positivity is something that personally drives me, and Kyle's an amazing interviewer. To me, Huber's always come across as sincere and genuine. Sure he's "the loud guy" but I just can't understand anyone who doesn't think it comes from a genuine place; he's inspired me to be more of a positive person online
This was great. I would honestly love to see kyle do more interviews. He really has a knack for asking questions that get to the core of a person or topic. Between this and the pokemon shows with brandon, its clear he has the skillset of a great interviewer. L@R. P.S. love Huber as well. Keep up the great work and honesty
To echo everyone else, Kyle is an amazing interviewer. Questions naturally lead into another and everything flowed very nicely. The questions were unique and actually brought out interesting stories. While some might have seemed like he was prying a bit, it was more like he was trying to teach Huber or maybe help Huber realize things about himself. Awesome show guys.
The allies often make fun of Kyle and call him out for being a sociopathic troll. This really shows that it is not true. I also haven't forgotten about him checking whether a cat was alright in the middle of a podcast. Kyle has a kind heart.
Huber don't worry about negative comments. 95% of them are just trolls or to hurt, while 5% will be constructive. You're great as you are right now. Much L&R
I feel like anyone would be blessed to have Michael Huber on their team. The man just seems to willing to go for bat for you and be there when you need him. There are few people like that in the world, and there needs to be more.
Probing stuff. I hope Huber never feels the need to fake hype. That's when he would stop being a genuine, relatable, human being and become a character.
Huber is a priceless gem. Kyle did a great job. At the end when Kyle said "I wish I could keep doing this for another two hours." I immediately thought "so do I". Hope to see more of these one on ones in the future! You did a great job with them, Huber!
i would really love if huber's wife was just reading a book in the background during huber streams, and then at the end she'd just say what she thought of what she read during the stream. or even not the last part. would be good vibes
I think that would be very cool and hope it happens one day. I know when I started streaming, I remember my chat picking apart tiny details of my surroundings and it really got to me for a minute. It is very exposing to be in a stream or video so I 100% relate to wanted to be a bit guarded, especially if you are shy. I think with time she may be more comfortable and we as the community will be super excited to share the love for books!
I keep coming back to this episode, it's just so so good. I wish yall would do more interview and just chill talk videos between the allies, those are always the best.
MICHAEL HUBER When I first started watching GT I thought to myself "WHO IS THIS LOUD GUY?" I continued to follow GT and I started to think "Oh. He's loud because he's passionate." I watched more and I realized that MICHAEL HUBER is one of the most GENUINE and LOVELY people on the planet. I LOVE AND APPRECIATE YOU MICHAEL HUBER.
Ideas for this format; Interviews from people of the game industry, that could be awesome. I can’t see that this can repeat with these background topics but maybe with topics of their passions for this or that. I love this journey to see EZA’s foundation.
TIL Huber and I are basically the same person. So much of what he said (and a large bit of what Kyle said), I was like, "OMG, that is ME!!!!" Both of you guys are awesome and I'm so thankful that you guys are willing to bring this joy, positivity, and humor into our lives.
This has been said in other comments, but it stands repeating. This video was awesome. Huber you are a puppy in human form. Just an explosion of affection, excitement and enthusiasm and long may you continue to be so. If there is ever a zombie apocalypse, while most survivors would be complaining, you'd be getting hyped on how much easier it was to find somewhere to park. And Kyle, you have a real talent for knowing the right times to be Mr Showbiz Bosman and when to be the background moderator encouraging and allowing the other people around you to shine. It's quite something to watch, and much like Huber isn't the loud one, it's nice to be reminded you're not just "the bit guy". This was a superb look at two of the allies stepping outside of their personas a little. If you can find a way to do more, I'd welcome them.
I absolutely loved Story time with the Allies, Huber! I'd love a check in a year or so down the road to just see how the mood is and just check in on how people are.
Easily my favorite of all the recent episodes. The good vibes of Kyle and Huber just melt away the time and make me want to hang out with you guys. I was sad when the episode ended! Kyle is such an entrancing dude that i was hanging on his words, and Huber was the most genuine ive ever seen him, and he's always genuine. 10/10, would watch again.
I'm just in-love with this episode of Huber Syndrome! Any topic discussed or angle taken on them, it's all pure and with care from both of those gentleman sitting there. Love and Respect.
I never comment on RU-vid videos, but felt compelled to with this one. You guys are amazing, such a good interview, so honest, great questions, perfect. Love and Respect to the max!
That was really brilliant. Both Kyle and Huber were really great at interviewing in different ways. In fact, it'd be really interesting to have a series of Kyle interviewing the rest of the allies?
Be yourself Huber that's all you gotta do! You're one of the 9 reasons so many people come here and they all just wanna see you all the way you are. Kyle and Huber both have these fantastic super funny DND moments
if theres one thing I love more than Huber's enthusiasm, its Kyle's optimism "Some of them like books, certainly 3 at least!" Just always pumped for something new.
This episode just felt ground and REAL. it’s hard to describe but I loved hearing insight from Huber and Bosman. Very heartfelt at times. And relatable!
Huber you are a gift to this world. You're an excellent reviewer, a consistent source of happiness and entertainment, and the kind of person that I, and I'm sure many others, aspire to be. Never let anyone tell you different
This was super wholesome, I enjoyed every minute of this. As other people have mentioned, "loud" isn't the word I would use to describe Huber, I think "enthusiastic" better describes him. We could all do with being a bit more like Hubes :)
You guys together are amazing. such a great interview. You're the only place I go to for game news, and have since gametrailers. Long live the easy allies.
Great episode guys! I'm so glad the Huber interview actually happened. To your question at the end Huber, more interviews would be fantastic, but maybe you can also pull an ally in for a more normal length/format episode where you co-op syndrome out over something that ally is super passionate about. For example bring Jones on to talk about his love for Legos, Open World Games, and basically anything where he gets to custom tailor his experience and how that works into his anticipation for games like Dreams.
The Invisible Walls episode Huber is mentioning being extremely nervous in. Part 1: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FfI3wH8v4RA.html Part 2: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gzdb73eb9n4.html
Hey Huber, watched this Ep yday but only commenting today. Just to let you know that you are an amazing human beeing, you convey a very positive message, and it never ever comes out as "fake" on my end of the screen !!! I loved this series of interviews, it could really work with guests. I understand you wouldnt have that level of insight with guests than it would be with allies, but it's great to hear all them origins stories !! Kyle did a great job asking you thoses questions too !!! Big shout out to Mrs Huber, thanks for supporting him to the max !!! We'll be happy to see you appear on screen at some point !!! L&R
Huber, you are such a joy to see in this element. I love your attitude and optimism, and it's really inspiring to see a happiness like yours continuously pour out from this channel. Thank you for all of the love and respect you bring.
Loved this series Huber. Do another round soon! Maybe have 2 on at the same time to have a more flowing discussion. I feel you did a good job with the origins of all members except Don and yourself. I'd love to hear you guys origin stories and how you got to EZA more as well as you did with the others. PS I'm one of the commenters wondering about the Dead Cells review. I'm sorry for making you feel bad :( It must be tough to have such a heightened empathy!
Huber is a treasure in the gaming world. Years ago, I used to listen to a ton of game podcasts. As time went on, I started to notice a common black cloud looming over nearly everything in games media: Unbridled cynicism. It started to weigh on me. If it wasn't a triple A game, the game would just get either ignored or shat on. I even started to feel that negativity starting to unfortunately rub off on me. Then on a little website I frequented mainly to watch trailers, I came across a show called "The First Fifteen." I knew and loved Bosman already, but was never exposed to Huber before then. His "swimming in 7's" attitude was a life changer for me. His positivity was such a breath of fresh air for me at the time. I had found my silver lining in games media. I've lived my entire life playing and enjoying games starting with the Atari 2600. Finding others with the same shared passion of games has never been easy. Huber, and the rest of the Allies for that matter, have changed that. We may never meet, but I still feel like I'm hanging out with friends whenever I listen to anything EZA. I honestly feel that years from now I, and many others, will look back at our time spent with the Huber, and the rest of the allies, with extreme fondness. Much like how we look back on on some of our greatest times spent on a video game that has left a lasting ,and positive impact, on our lives. I honestly feel like Huber is the Super Mario 3 of games media personalities for me. Just pure unbridled hype and jolliness. L&R.
Huber, you are hands down one of my favorite online personalities to watch, if not THE favorite. Your optimism, humbleness and honesty is so heart warming. Keep being you and don't let the mean spirited comments affect you. Thanks to you I got to know Yakuza and now it's straight up one of my favorite franchises, can't wait to play Shenmue 1 and 2! L&R
I would love to see these sit downs to come back! It gives great insight into the allies! I’m not sure how the balance should be between sit downs and regular structure but I still love the regular structure so I don’t want it to go away. I guess these sit downs should be special in the sense that they shouldn’t happen very often. Maybe like 1-2 months out the year, so 4-8 episodes a year sounds good to me. Love your work Huber and allies! Love and respect!!! :D
I love this!! I was trying to describe Huber to my girlfriend the other day. I said he’s always so happy and positive, he’s so positive that it sounds strange when he’s (justifiably) negative about games in reviews...
I want these guys to grab a bigger audience just like Huber does. I always hope to see more views on these RU-vid videos. I'll always be here watching!
Huber, you are absolutely loud. But it's only because you're so hyped and excited to pump those good vibes out. I love your commentary on things and get legitimately excited when you're on the podcast. Please just keep being yourself. Love and respect
Huber, don't forget that there are many of us who think very positively of your work that don't usually comment at all (such as myself). Also, no matter who you are, there are going to be people that like you and people that don't, so you might as well be yourself (you already do this, which is one of the reasons I love you). Don't let those negative comments bring you down. So many of us love you just the way you are! Same with reviews. Every reviewer has their own unique personality. And so to get the most out of a review, I think it's important for the viewer to have an idea of what kind of taste the reviewer has, so they can take that into account before adapting the review to their own perspective accordingly. Some of these people who criticize your work may simply not get you as a person, but there will always be those people no matter who you are, along with those of us who love you for who you are, so you might as well be yourself. Stay you, Huber! One of the things I love about you is how genuine your are. One last thing, since I know you can be critical of yourself in trying to improve you work: the end result is of course important, but don't forget to enjoy the process! 90% of life is "the process." So even better yet, find something about the process to love (I have a feeling you already do). Love and Respect!
Wow Kyle MAN. Really hard questions that even hit me and made me question and analyze myself in order to decide what to with my life. Really good to watch
